Boomer

Takaaki didn't like Boomer. Not for the typical reasons-well, that was part of it. But no. It was because of the way he looked at Miyako.

Takaaki was taking a stroll-or rather, wheeling around the city. Miyako needed to catch up on her studies. After all, saving the world took up a lot of time.

"Psst."

Takaaki looked up. Where had that voice come from?

"Psst!"

He looked around. Just where was it coming from?

"Oh for Pete's sake! Get over here!"

Before he knew it, Takaaki was being rapidly wheeled into the bushes. Before him were the infamous Rowdyruff Boys. He gasped. "Just one scream and the police and the Powerpuff Girls will come running." Takaaki threatened.

"Please don't do that!" Brick waved his hands frantically while Boomer and Butch glanced at everything nervously.

"What's wrong?" Takaaki looked at them warily.

"Um, well, you know our secret," Butch stammered. "We wanted to make sure you kept it."

"Plus, we know yours," Boomer added. "You're dating Bubbles, who is also Miyako. We'll tell everyone about the whole double identity thing if you tell everyone we have crushes on the Powerpuff Girls."

"Why are you going to such extreme lengths to conserve a crush? Everyone  has one," Takaaki said.

He glanced at their blushing faces and remembered them calling girls sissies and losers.

"Asked and answered."

"Hello, Taki," Miyako kissed his cheek. "Whatdja do today?"

"Oh, you know," Takaaki waved his hand casually. "Took a stroll around the park, talked to the Rowdyruff Boys."

"What?!"
