Marley absolutely loves magic and desperately wants to become a strong wielder of it in the future so that he can be as strong as his mother and father once were. However, he suffers from the painthat he feels fir losing them and not being able to do a thing about it. He cries himself to sleep almost every night because of how much it hurts him. Even with his new adoptive family to take care of him, he still can't bare the pain of the loss of his parents. So he distances himself from everyone and often pushes them away.
