ANGEL
na jaemin——⋆🌫⋆——
11:35 pm
Even though Yeonwoo was always one for routines, that night she had decided to go against it for once. For him, she was ready to go against anything and everything, even if it meant leaving the warm safety of her bedroom and out in the dark streets of Seoul on the cold night.
Breathing in the chilly air she let out a puff of smoke, clearly uncomfortable from the unpleasant cold as she dug her hands deep inside her jacket's pockets. From the packet of warm foods that dangled from her wrist, heat seeped in through the fabric of her left side. Seoul was unworldly at night, there was no doubt about that. Its beauty was the only thing that accompanied her as she strolled along the sidewalk.
A few 24/7 stores were open and the lights of the neon boards radiated the lonely dark streets. She began to think how Donghyuck had complained to her over the phone just a while ago about a certain blue haired male and she felt the bubbles of worry form in her chest again.
Na Jaemin
The boy who, despite the gravity of the situation, is always smiling. The boy who can light up the dark world just by existing. The boy who's always giving his best at everything and is always putting others before him.
Yet he is the boy who is misunderstood because of his quiet personality. And he is the boy who has to live up to people's false image of him, just because they want to see him that way.
But to her, Na Jaemin was the boy who had opened up to her. He trusted her enough to share his worries, let her carry his burdens and gave her a piece of him to hold.
Na Jaemin, the boy she fell in love with.
She knew the sun is a star until she met Jaemin- who convinced her that the sun, in reality, can be a person. And sometimes that sun can't always radiate warmth and heat and light to everyone. Sometimes, it needs someone to do the same for it – to do the same for him.
And without any unsureness and skepticism, she had leaped in. She wanted to be there for him when the sun loses his golden light, so that he can get back to his glory without a heavy heart. So that the sun can run again.
Just like tonight.
Yeonwoo came to a halt as she eyed the apartment then walked in. She checked the paper bag in her hand to ensure the contents inside were still warm. Stepping inside the elevator she hugged the bag close to her, the warmth of the food giving her momentary bliss from the frigid night.
As soon as the doors opened, she rushed out and knocked on the shared apartment of the boys. After a while she was greeted by a sleepy and scowl-drawn looking Donghyuck.
