*sigh* "This wasn't part of the mission."

When Twilight first got the mission assigned to him he didn't think much of it. He's had much more complicated missions where he had to go undercover for long periods of time. This was basically child's play for the master spy. The mission consisted of getting evidence of where Akira was keeping the hostages, take out his men ,get the hostages to safety and WISE would handle the rest. Akira arriving to the scene was just a big coincidence, and a lesser pain in the ass for Twilight. Because he'd still have to capture the culprit in the end of the day.

But literally kidnapping a weird little girl from her kidnappers was not part of the mission.
Although it wasn't like the girl was against him taking her. She literally looked at him for a few good seconds and then patted his head. What a weird girl.

Said girl was now peacefully asleep in his left arm, his right hand was occupied with the girls oh so precious box. The kid was adamant about having the box near her and literally crawled in and propped herself in the wooden box.

Twilight had considered carrying the girl in her box. But decided against it because there is no way that box is a comfortable place to be in.

So now the spy was stuck carrying this injured child with a bamboo muzzle strapped against her mouth, a child sized wooden box and another headache.

But what now?

What was he going to do with the kid?
She is injured, most definitely traumatized and has nowhere to go.

He could drop her off at a police station...
But he'd probably have to answer all kinds of questions like 'where'd you find her?' 'Why is she injured' 'why is there a bamboo muzzle around her mouth?' 'Why is she dressed like that?' 'Where are her parents'-
The spy doesn't know. Obviously he could come up with a lie. But what kind of lie would make sense in this situation?

Same thing with bringing her to a doctor.

He could leave her at the adoption center where he found Anya. Put her in her box, knock on the door and leave before he gets seen. They'd have no choice but to take her in. Then get her to a hospital to treat her injuries and lastly try and find her parents.

It's a good plan. But to leave a 4 year old INJURED girl alone in the dark didn't sit right with him. She'd probably be terrified after she wakes up with no one actually knowing what happened to her. And no leads to find her parents.

Twilight could help. He'd get Franky to do some research on her and her family. Get her injuries treated. And then leave her at the adoption center. Yeah. That sounds much better.

And at the same time, Anya wouldn't mind a new friend to watch spywars with her.
