The kidnapped Dust au (under a temporary hiatus)

The beginning

The day Dust disappeared was like any other day, for everyone except Dust at least. However even that knowledge didn't stop him from trying to get out of the situation he was in. Dust was the only one that know what was going to happen, yet he still went to Underfell. One thing for certain, he wasn't expecting to see Fell there, since he's hardly ever in his own AU. The only weird thing was Fell seemed as if he was waiting for him. Waiting... why him of all people...? Dust was nervous. He's never nervous... At least not like the way he was right now. Dust was having a hard time, especially seeing Fell in his AU knowing what was going to happen. His mind felt like it was spinning. He couldn't think straight at all... what will he have to do now? He can't just sit back and let this happen... now he really isn't being himself. He was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't notice Fell had walked up to him, probably sharing his same look. Dust noticed this right after Fell said "It's not like you to be here." He's never sounded that aware of my feelings before Dust thought trying to stay calm, he could feel his mind racing."I-um" was all he was able to get out as his mind was trying to find something to say, some excuse, but he came up with nothing. Now the look on Fell's face switched from confused to worried. He probably noticed Dust's facial expression or the nervousness in his tone. "Are you sure your ok...? I mean the last time you came you were-" Fell stopped as if he was about to say something he wasn't supposed to. "I'm fine..." Dust tried to sound as cocky as possible. He tried to sound like his old self. It all didn't go as planned since Fell didn't seem to believe him. God he was such a bad liar. "Dust-" Fell was cut off by a loud noise coming from directly behind them. Dust watched as Fell's eyes widened into a shocked expression. Dust turned around and immediately knew what it was. He started to feel sick just looking at the portal. He never met them in person, but now he was. "Hey, you okay...?" Fell asked, you could hear how worried he was. "Yeah, what do you mean...?" Dust tried to smile, if he's being honest he was confused as to why Fell had asked that. "Your shaking..." Is all Fell had to say. Dust looked down to see that he was in fact shaking. How could he be so stupid? As Dust was beginning to be surrounded by his thoughts again some sort of tentacle grabbed him. He knew it wasn't Nightmare's. If it was him, he would be yelling at Dust for leaving. It had to be one of them. It had to be. Dust's facial expression changed, he wasn't nervous now he was afraid. Afraid of what they were going to do to him. Afraid of them. He felt himself getting dragged into the portal. He could hear Fell screaming his name. He could hear them threatening Fell with the lives of his friends and family. He knew he had made a mistake, but he couldn't undo it anymore. He just couldn't...

   2 hours later at Nightmare's castle

Killer's POV

Nightmare called a meeting, we're all in the room. All of us except Dust at least, but it's normal for him to be late. He is late almost every time, but this time something seems off. I brush it off as nothing though. I watched as Nightmare looked around we've been waiting for Dust for about ten minutes now. "Has anyone in here seen Dust lately?" Nightmare asked. I could tell he was hiding worry. Horror raised his hand. I knew he had to have him somewhere. "Yes, Horror?" "I l-las-t see-n h-im he-ad-ing to Und-erfe-ll." "Underfell? Why was he going there Horror?"  Nightmare asked knowing the answer. "Don't k-now." Horror replied back looking like he wished he had more of an answer. Nightmare then turned to me. I knew what he was hinting at. "Sorry to disappoint you boss, but I ain't seen him anywhere." I was partly lying. I have seen him. I've just have been told not to tell anyone. "Has anyone seen him leave Underfell?" Horror answered with a sharp "N-o s-ir." I knew he didn't mean it to come out like that because he immediately covered his mouth. Probably thinking he was in trouble or said something wrong. "Its fine Horror." Just like everyone else here Nightmare goes easy on Horror. I guess it's because he doesn't want to hurt him more. Nightmare may seem big and powerful, which he is, but he is also kind of like a mom if you're a part of his gang. The two people he is nicest to though are Horror and Cross. Horror because with his condition is easily harmed and Cross you can take a guess because no one really knows why. By the time I'm out of my thoughts the meeting is already over. I get up and start walking to the door. I notice that Nightmare has asked Cross to stay. I'm sure they're a thing, but I can't say for certain. I then see Horror motioning for me to come to him. I know what the conversation is going to be about. Why does he have to be so paranoid? I can't really blame him though. As I approach him he asks "S-o yo-u ha-ve a pla-n?" He asks me sounding very worried and paranoid. "For what Horror?" I try not to sound mad or upset just for the sake of my poor friend. "F-in-ding D-ust." He waits for me to answer. "Well not really." I can't lie to him. "W-el-l I wa-s t-hin-king of a-ski-ng In-k." The words come out kind of slurred, but that would be normal for Horror. It was just the tone of voice that wasn't normal for him. He sounded worried, scared even... "Sorry to say this Horror but I don't think the squid is a good first suspect." I try not to sound mean, I don't want to hurt him. Still he goes on with his weird idea " B-ut In-k mo-nitors t-he au-s h-e w-ill k-now whe-re h-e is an-d where he h-as b-een." Horror's never been more clear, it's almost like he wants me to understand. "I get what you saying, but how do we know for sure?" Horror stops as if contemplating what I just said. I work up a compromise for his idea. "Horror if you want to look for him, why don't you check Underfell?" Horror looked at me like I just said the craziest thing ever. He immediately started to explain how he hasn't seen Fell. So I work up another compromise that was going to work. "Alright Horror how about I check Underfell and you check Ink." I saw Horror's face light up. "I'll take that as a deal."
