Hisashiro city, a coastal city located in the east of Osaka, somewhere in the Mie Prefecture. A place once known for the fisheries, now known to be a hotspot for tourism and commerce. About an hour and a half from Tokyo via Japan Rail trains, and a pleasant view for inhabitants and tourists as well.Every year, there's a writer's convention that happens in Tokyo. Something like Comiket, where amateur writers and aspiring mangaka come to expose their new works. In the recent years, when an economical recession took Japan by storm, the organizers decided to make the writer's convention in Hisashiro as a means of cutting costs.
There's also a high school building which had been renowed recently, from an old technical school that fell under disrepair, the renovations and installation of student dorms around the vicinity attracted a lot of newcomers.
Hanamori Academy, once a decaying building of a failed college, now stands proud and firm as the Cherry Blossoms decorate the environment.
And one of the most interesting places in the entirety of the city.
Haku-Ji, a temple built in during the Nara period and a place used for pilgrimage. At the deepest parts of the temple, people worshipped the twin Celestial Dragons, Ao and Idaten, but in modern times, these old deities had became nothing more but tourist traps, worshipped maybe save for a few students who pray for good luck in their exams or for people who mourn and pray for the souls of the beloved ones who passed away.
