"Off him."

Came the strict voice of the King. All the commoners looked at eachother in fear.

Knowing their King is ruthless but not knowing if he'd really kill his own father.

"I don't why I ever loved you, you bastard of a son." Came the gurgled voice of former King Ian.

Every knew that the current King is the product of an affair. With him being the only heir it was forced upon him.

Now all the people are facing the wrath of the former King and his mistresses wrong doings.

The King simply flicked his wrist before the guard slashed Ians neck with the sword his been sharpening.

The simply action sent Ian's head flying from his head. Blood seeped from his open neck but not a sound was heard from the spectators.

Everyone knew that if they spoke up, or showed any signs of protest they'll receive the same fate.

Many of their loved ones have been examples of what'll happen if you step out of line.

"If any of you object to what happened speak now." No one made a sound. You could  of heard a pin drop.

That is until the doors of the ballroom opened. All heads even the kings snapped to the person that had the audacity to interrupt him.

When the Kings eyes landed on the young boy something inside of him squirmed.

He felt a pull.

A connection.

A urge to protect and care for the young attractive boy.

Time seemed to slow down while the King walked closer. The poor boy looked small and fragile. His face was red with old tear track marks.

Making the King suspisous as to why his here. Everyone's eyes snapped to the King trying to gouge his reaction.

"Take him to the dungeons." Came the sharp voice of the King. The boy seemed to be on the verge of tears again.

"Alaster." The King called his most loyal guard and best friend. "Take him to my quaters." Alaster just smirked and nodded.

Taking the small thing to the Kings bedroom. Everyone was stumped. The boy wasn't immediately killed like all the others.

Before anyone could assume anything the Kings gruff voice cut through the air. "OUT NOW."

Eveyone scrambled to leave. Loving the fact that they wouldn't be in the Kings presence anymore.

While they commoners of the kingdom left no one seemed to see the almost distressed looking King.

He wondered if that boy could be his. In a life were you get judged and hanged by being with the same gender.

He simply didn't give a fuck.
