Todoroki x Reader fluff

A/N: I know it's kinktober but idc I want to do a fluff so yayyyyyyy

It took a lot to become friends with Shoto Todoroki. And boy did Y/N put in the work. Having to deal with his constant cold shoulder, always brushing off her complaints on his hero work and constantly avoiding her. For a full year he was so annoyed by her and her behavior and even he didn't understand why he was so bother by her but that all changed one day. He'd seen Y/N flirting with a boy in school and he was even more upset with that. After that he actually started talking to her and engaging with her silly comments and nice words. Before they knew it they were eating lunch together every day, hanging out after school in each others dorms, telling each other anything and everything under the sun, and getting closer and closer.

The rest of their high school lives they were inseparable and into the real world they were even closer. They worked in the same agency, Lived as neighbors in the same apartment building , and even go out once a week to get lunch to catch up especially on particularly busy weeks. Right now they were catching up over a nice dinner while Y/N told Todoroki some shocking news. "So I'm going out on a date." Y/n smiles popping a piece of food into her mouth. "What?" Todoroki stills in his movements to look at her. "Yeah I was out on patrol yesterday and this guy asked me if I wanted to grab a drink so I gave him my number." She smirks at him. "Oh... do you like him?" He asks and she laughs.

"Well I don't know yet we only talked to make plans. And that was over the phone so who knows what he's like." She shrugs and he hums looking at his plate. "When is it?" He asks and she smiles. "Tomorrow. I got a sexy red dress and some black lingerie in case things go my way tomorrow." She winks and he feels his face heat up. "I'd love for you to see my outfit if you plan on coming over tonight. I need my best guys advice on how to look super sexy." She winks and  he clears his throat. "Oh uh yeah for sure..." He mutters and she beams. "Awesome!" She squeals as they finish up their meals.

They made their way back to their apartment building and Y/n let Todoroki into her place. "Ok let me get changed you wait here." She says pointing to the couch. He flops down making himself comfortable and made him wait a few minutes while she got dressed. "Ok this is the dress!" She walks out of her bedroom and he looks to her. She wore a sexy tight red dress and red heals, he blushed when he examined her outfit as she did a small spin for him. "Sexy right?" She smirked at him and he cleared his throat. He'd seen her in a million date night outfits, hell he even picked some out for her, but something about this outfit made his stomach spin like a rollercoaster. "Very. You look amazing Y/N." He smiles a bit and she squeals.

"Awesome! Hold on." She removed the straps off her dress and pulled the dress down. She revealed the tight, Lacey, black lingerie that she hid under the dress. "Thoughts?" She asks him putting her hands on her hips. He blushes deeply as his eye widen. He leans back on the couch and adjusts her legs as he felt the blood rush to his groin. "Mhm Mhm.." he looks her up and down. "Turn around." He says and she giggles. She turns around giving. Him a full view off her ass in the small panties. He takes a deep breath and she turns back around happily. "You think he'll like it?" She asks looking down at herself. "I can't imagine why on earth he wouldn't." He grunts and she squeals. "Awesome! I'm gonna change into my comfies, why don't you pick out a movie we can watch?" She asks and he nods. "Yeah Mhm for sure." He mutters watching her grab her dress and run back to her room.

He lets out a deep sigh before standing up and rushing to the bathroom. He looked down at his situation and groaned. He'd had this problem with Y/N before, sure he's always found her attractive since they became friends. Hell since he first met her he was attracted to her but that's normal for guy- girl friendships. Right? He splashed some cold water in his face and calmed down. Despite the fact that he was back to normal he couldn't shake the small pit of jealousy that roared in his stomach.

The next day Y/N left for her date. Todoroki hadn't seen her all day since today was her day off and he had patrol. She was gone before he go back to the apartment building and his day was pretty shitty. He had mountains of paper work, he almost lost 2 villains while on patrol and what made it all worse was that some little kid said he was scary because of the scar on his face. Something he'd always been self conscious of. So while Y/N was on her date he went up to the roof and Star gazed. Due to their apartments being right next to each other he didn't want to risk hearing if Y/N did indeed "get lucky" with her date tonight. He was up on the roof thinking for a while. All his thoughts eventually drifted to Y/N. What was she doing? How was the guy? Was she showing him her lingerie? Why couldn't he get drinks with her? Why was she going out with some stupid guy?

The jealousy grew in his stomach till he realized. He wanted to go on a date with Y/N. He wanted to be the only one who saw her in such a revealing outfit. He wanted to be with her tonight, forever. He groaned to himself for not realizing sooner. From the day he started being her friend. He was jealous she was flirting with some other guy and not him. He didn't love Y/N as a friend. He loved her as so much more.

He was broken from his thoughts when he heard the door to the roof open. "Hey Todo." Y/N smiled softly. She was wearing nothing but a shirt and panties with a blanket wrapped around her arms. He blushes and looked away from her. "Hey." He mutters as she walked to sit with him. "Brought you a beer." She smiles holding out a beer to him. He took it and they both took a sip. "How was the date?" He asks and she shrugs. "Boring. Definitely not fun." She sighs swinging her feet over the edge of the building. "Oh." He perked up a bit but cleared his throat. "That's a shame." He sighed and she chuckles. "Whatever. I should've just stayed home and hung out with you." She smiles leaning her head on his shoulder. He blushes and takes another sip of beer.

"Y/N what am I too you?" He asks suddenly and she looks up. "What do you mean? You're my best friend Todo." She smiles cupping his cheek. She rubbed a thumb under his scar and he blushed. "No I know but like... we do things that are weird for boy and girl best friends." He mutters leaning into her touch. "Like what?" She asked him. "Well we talk a lot about sex and dating. And you always get dressed in front of me." He says and she hums. "Well that's because I'm comfortable around you. Does it make your uncomfortable?" She asks but she blushes. "Ah no it's not like that I just.. we feel closer than just friends." He sighs and she looks down. "Well I don't really see you as like a brother... I don't know." She pulls her hand away from him.

"I just like being around you. And I'm most comfortable when I'm with you. If you weren't a guy I guess I'd do this sort of stuff with a girl best friend too." She mutters with a shrug. "But I'm not a girl Y/N." He grabs her hand and she looks at him. "I am a man. And.." he bites his tongue before he speaks. His eyes flick down to her lips and she blushes lightly. He licks his lips and suddenly leans down pressing his lips against her. Her eyes widen but she kisses him back right away. He cups her face and leans into her more. They kiss for a moment, slow and passionate.

They pull away from each other and look at each other. "I like you.. the way men like women." He mutters making her blush even more. "So Y/N... what are we?" He asks and she swallows the lump in her throat. "Shoto." She whispers and he smirks. He leans in again and kisses her once more. "I love you." She whispers with a small smile. "I love you too. So so much." He groans and she smiles. She kisses him slowly allowing his hands to grab her body and pull her onto his lap. She hugs him and they sit there on the roof together underneath the moonlight...
