3 years Y/N and Shinso have been together. 3 years of hand holding, date nights, couple photos, and sex. Y/N knows Shinso loves her. She does really! But lately she's felt very neglected. Shinso being a hero well it was hard on her. Getting calls he was hurt or that he had to stay long in the office for something. Over the years he's been around less and less, always working and he couldn't really be home much. She didn't blame him of course! Work is work and this was his dream from when he was little. Who would she be to deny him that dream? But she noticed in recent months Shinso just was distant.

He was always working so when he came home he just went to bed, he wouldn't cuddle with her anymore, he didn't eat the dinners she prepared for him anymore, and if he was home he was taking time for himself by playing video games with his friends online or watching TV. Y/N never spoke up about it, though she felt neglected. He used to compliment her when she would dress up nice for him. He would stare extra long and tell her he loved her. When's the last time she's heard and "I love you." From the man? It was always a half assed "love you" as he ran out the door if that at all! Sometimes he would just say bye. He used to kiss her and tell her He loved her and she knew it was true. Now it feels more like a hassle for him to get the words out.

But tonight things were different! She was going to rekindle their love! It was their anniversary, she had everything ready. His favorite dinner, his favorite dessert, and the house was nice and clean. Candles were light, dinner was hot and ready on the table for when he walked in from work. She already laid out his pajamas and had a beer waiting for him in their room! She had everything prepared, she even got a special new purple lingerie set she was wearing underneath her clothes. She say at the table excited, now today mark 3 years together and she can't wait to celebrate!

Except... when he was expected home 3 hours ago and still isn't she starts to worry. She checks the news to see if he was maybe injured in a battle? Maybe he was in the hospital and nobody's called her yet! She start panicking when she sees on the news that there was a villain attack near by! She called Aizawa but got no answer, she called Kaminari and Deku and even Bakugo! Anyone who could know where he was but nobody answered her. She thought the worst and began to sob on her couch. "Oh god oh god Hitoshi no..." she whimpers and cries into her hands. That is until she hears the front door open. "I'm home." Shinso yells out and she gasps. She stands up and runs to him. "Oh Hitoshi thank god you're ok!" She sobs and jumps onto him hugging him. "Uhhh yeah?" He asks and she kisses his cheek over and over again.

"There was a villain attack near by and I was so scared when nobody was answering their phones I was so worried!" She cries and he chuckles. "No no I was just out with everyone getting some drinks." He says and she sighs. "Oh thank-..." she stops talking and lets him go. "Wait you went out for drinks?" She asks and he nods taking off his shoes. "Yeah." He says and she looks down. "But... Hitoshi don't you remember what today is?" She asks and he gives her a confused head tilt. "Hmmm..." He thinks and her heart shatters. He doesn't remember. And here she was... 3 years into this relationship thinking maybe... maybe he was gonna propose soon? Maybe they'd get married finally. "Hitoshi... you've been gone for 3 hours. You couldn't have at least shot me a text?" She asks hurt in her voice.

"I'm sorry it just slipped my mind." He says and she feels tears brim in her eyes. "Whats today again?" He asks still not catching on. "Its our anniversary..." she whispers and his eyes widen. "I- I made dinner and... I got all dressed up." She looks down at her dress and shakes her head. "Babe I'm so-" "save it." She looks up and he blushes. "Why can't you just.... Fuck never mind." She looks away and sighs. "I'm sorry for real I'll make it up to you." He says and she sighs. "No... don't. I'm done." She sighs and he furrows his eyebrows. "You... you don't understand what it's like to have to worry about you." She chokes out and he rolls his eyes. "Come on now." He walks away and she walks after him. "You're gone before I wake up and when you come home you're not happy! You just look mad all the fucking time! And today is our fucking anniversary and you don't even feel bad at all! You were gone for 3 hours today I thought you were dead!" She yells and he scoffs
