"Sorry I had to take you from your party baby, I just needed to get out of mommas house quickly, I did grab some of your presents off the table. I thought you could open them once we get to the hotel"i yawn as today has been a long day.

"Hotel? I thought we where going to your house?"she asks confused

"Well baby in order for me to get a place of my own or even to rent a room from a friend, I need to get a job which I don't have right now because I have been gone, so as of now we are going to stay in a hotel room for a little bit my buddy has it all paid for so we don't have to worry about it."I say hoping she won't ask any more questions.

"But if you don't have a jo-"she gets cutt off

"ZO- Zoey baby, please stop asking question it's been a long day today and I got a headache I promise any questions you have later that you wanna ask I'll answer in all honesty"I sigh rubbing my temple I see her start to pout"hey none of that, I'm sorry I snapped"

"Can I just ask one more question?"she asks kind of hesitant, I nod."if u don't have any money for a rent house or to rent a room for someone how do you have money for.... For a hotel?"she asks

"Your brothers stupid"I chuckle"instead of taking us to the holiday inn can you take us too 123 E Main st"I tell the driver"we are gonna go stay at my friends house."sending a text as he said that.

"So a strangers house?"

"No not really, he may be a stranger to you because you don't know him, he won't be in the house at all it's an outside house so their house is in front of the little area we will be staying in."I say trying to explain it to the best of my ability. Her nodding I'm assuming she understands, the taxi pulls up on the side of the road, I get out as I have zoey get out on my side and get her bags out of the trunk. We head up to the front door of the house that we'll be staying in I get the key from under the mat, unlocking the door and we step in"well this is a nice little set up they have going here"I smile.

"Where's my room?"she asks walking around"theirs only one open area"

"Baby I explained that already, you won't have a room of your own yet, this is a little studio. By studio I mean it only has one room. The kitchen, living room, bedroom is all in one room"I explain with a little bit more detail

"What about the bathroom?"

I chuckle"the bathroom has its own room"I put her bags on the bed helping her unpack, putting them into the chest of drawers, she unpacks the back pack that's full of toys and finds a place for them."okay love, I got some big presents and little ones from your party table at mommas"I hand her the little one first which is a square or rectangle shape she rips it open.

She Gasps"the new Shawn mendes sound track!"

"Oh god"I chuckle"now I'll be forced to listen to it, come on open the next one"she rips open a big one next which is a Barbie dream doll house she opens a few more until theirs no more she's gotten a few Barbie's, Barbie clothes, Barbie movies, the encanto movie, some CD's and couple stuffed animals."well I think you got enough for your birthday you won't even need presents for Christmas"I chuckle

"When is Christmas?"she asks totally dodging the sentence I just said

"In 3 months I believe"I smile and look at the time"oh wow it's getting late, are you hungry? All we have right now is sandwich stuff."

"Can you make me a grilled cheese?"she asks as I open some of her Barbie dolls.

"Sure baby."I smile stopping what I'm doing and go make her a grilled cheese, plating it then putting it on the table with a glass of milk."come eat, I'll continue to open some of your toys"I go back over to the couch continuing to open her toys as she eats. I finish opening her dolls,"okay babe, go get a shower and get ready for bed and we can watch one of your movies"

"Encanto?"she smiles, I nod she runs off to go get a shower as I throw on a pair of basketball shorts keeping my shirt off. I get the DVD player set up and put in the movie encanto as it goes to it okay menu, I go wash the dish that I used to cook her grilled cheese. After a couple of minutes she comes out of the bathroom in her justice pajamas. "You can go ahead and press play love I'm just finishing up a few things"she goes and sits on the bed laying under the covers after pushing play I put on a plain whit t-shirt and go lay down next to her and she cuddled into my side.
