Peter was pacing in his apartment room, thinking about the day before when Wanda asked him to meet her for dinner. He looked at his shirtless body in the mirror. "What am I gonna wear?" He asked himself. "No...whats SHE gonna wear?"
"Maybe she'll wear her the outfit she wears as a hero." He said to himself, referring to her red jacket and black tight pants. "So that means I should wear my Spider-Man outfit." He then slapped himself in the face. "No! That's stupid! Uhh..." he looked in his closet. "This'll work." He said as he fished out a shirt and pants.Peter arrived in black jeans and a black shirt. Wanda arrived in a brown jacket and black pants. "Hey, Peter. You made it." She said. Peter nodded. The two went inside, and got their table that they saved for a reservation Wanda made. They sat down across from each other. They smiled at each other, happy they were together. A waiter came by with waters. "So uhh...how have you been since we last met. Before yesterday, I mean." Peter asked. Wanda smiled and chuckled. "I know what you mean. I've been great, surprisingly." Wanda told Peter. "And you?"
"College. And the break up I mentioned." He said.
"Lets not talk about that. Have you ever played a sport?" Wanda asked, changing the subject.
"Not really. But every year around my birthday, i go bowling." Peter told her.
"Kind of like a birthday party. Interesting." Wanda said. "Honestly, its a good thing when you were bit by a spider, you didn't inherit an appetite for insects and other bugs."
As gross as it sounded, Peter and Wanda both started laughing. A few teenagers stopped by. "Excuse me, are you Peter Parker?" They asked Peter.
"Yeah, I am Peter Parker, or your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man." He said.
"Can we get a picture with you?"
"Sure." One of the teens took their phone out and Peter smiled. He took the picture. "Thanks."
"No problem." Peter said, smiling.
"Do you wanna take a picture with me? I'm Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch." Wanda asked as she was taking a sip of her water.
"I think I heard of you, didn't you try to kill the Avengers?" One of them asked. Wanda almost did a spit-take at the comment. She cleared her throat and swallowed. "No. I don't think I did. In fact, I actually helped them take down Ultron." Wanda said. "Its okay. You don't need to take a picture with me." Wanda said. The teens walked away.
"Be good, alright?" Peter said as they left. He looked at Wanda. "Sorry about that." Peter told her.
"No, its okay. I think I'm a little underrated, anyway. Its fine." Wanda said to him.
"That too, and also that I was paparazzi'd during our dinner..." Peter then thought he should ask. "Okay, is this technically a dinner date?"
"Uhh..." Wanda blushed a bright red, thinking of his question. "I...I guess in a way it is. Yeah, i guess we're on a dinner date." Wanda said. "Are we okay with calling it that?"
"Yeah, lets...lets call it a date." Peter said, blushing.
