휘찬 - Soulmates

It was exactly 10 years when Jinnie first met her boyfriend Hwichan. Even though the circumstances weren't all that fine and and dandy, they knew from the start that they were destined to be together a phenomenon people like to call soulmates.
It was your anniversary tomorrow. Hwichan decided to throw a little anniversary party since the both of you were free from work.

The next morning

Hwichan was up early for the surprise he spent the entire night preparing. He leaned forward to Jinnie and gave her a peck on her cheek. " Good morning baby happy anniversary " , " Good morning beatiful boy of mine " Jinnie said while leaning in and softly kissing him on his lips. " Happy 10th anniversary I have prepared something for us and I want to show it like right now " Hwichan said. " Ughhh let me wake up first " Jinnie whined. Hwichan hovered aboved her and started tickeling her to wake up.

" HAHAHAHA PLEASE STOP NONONO OK OK I'M AWAKE I'M AWAKE LET ME GET DRESSED " Hwichan stopped immediately and let her go. He nudged his head to indicate she could get dressed. Hwichan waited for Jinnie to come out of their room.
Jinnie had put on a pair of leggings, a red skirt and a black crop top. Hwichan was dressed in a white button down with a bowtie and some black jeans.

" Before we go down baby, I have to make sure you close your eyes. I want it to be a surprise " Jinnie did what Hwichan asked. With that they walked down.
As soon as they were down Hwichan said " Now open your eyes " to which she opened them and gasped. There were three whole whiteboards filled with pictures Hwichan and Jinnie took in the 10 years of their relationship.

Jinnie started crying and said " You did it all for us? Because it's our 10th anniversary? " Hwichan nodded and said " Yes I sepent the entire night printing all these photos because I  cherish our relationship to the tiniest of bits " he took a step closer and hugged Jinnie tightly.
" I love you so so so much. I will never let go of you " Jinnie said while burrying her head in his chest.

She took a very good look at all the photos.
The photos varied from their high school trip where Hwichan first confessed to her, to pictures from their last prom, to pictures from them at their graduation parties from where they gratuated university.
" It's a trip down to memory lane isn't it " Hwichan asked to which Jinnie nodded. Hwichan hugged her from behind and said
" You got even prettier over the years you know that? Not that you weren't pretty before
otherwise we wouldn't have ended up together " Jinnie looked back at Hwichan with teary eyes.
" You know, you're truly the best. " Hwichan nodded.

" I do have one last question to you " Hwichan said as he went down on a knee while taking out a velvet  box. " Do you want to marry me and be mine for 10 more years? " Jinnies eyes widend and she started crying. She nodded since she couldn't respond properly since she was all in tears.
Hwichan put the engagement ring on her finger and kissed her.
This is what I call people being destined for each other.
