"One second I need to use the restroom" I say. I didn't think anyone heard me since they were in their own conversations but Bruce, Billy, and Vance turned around and said "okay!" With a warning smile.

I couldn't believe that this guy that seems so badass is so nice.

I get up and began making my way to the bathroom.

As I walked in I noticed I my hair look just odd, wrong. So I went up to the mirror to fix it. I heard someone walk in but I didn't think much of it.

Well not until I turned.

It was that Robin kid.
I tried not to show many emotion so I just turned my head back to the mirror. I could feel his presence moving towards me.

I tried to ignore it.
Next thing I know he's at the side of the sink that I'm in front of. I didn't hold any eye contact for his eyes are beautiful, I would drown in them.

I finished my hair and turned my head slightly to him. The tension is killing me.

"Why'd you go in here" he finally said. He sounded serious.
"To use the restroom?"

"Then why were you fixing your hair?"

"Cause it didn't look good..?"

"So you like Donna."

"No?"

"Sure, okay"

"Why don't you like me?"
I probably shouldn't of said that.

"Trust me Finney Blake,"
He didn't finish his sentence.

"What?"

He began to walk out, but I needed to leave still. So I walked behind him, awkwardly.

We sat across from each other. There's something about him, he makes me feel so uncomfortably oddly safe.

"Okay so good news! Friday, my house, small party, just us, there will be beer, and all that party shit" Bruce said.

"YEAH!" Vance says excited. "Ooo fun!!" Griffin looks to Billy and they nod their heads yes. "For sure" Robin says. "Ill try I don't know if my dad will let me" Donna said.

I assumed he wasn't talking to me so I continued to eat. I looked up after taking a sip of my most likely rancid milk to see all eyes on me.

"So what, you coming Finn?" Robin asked.

"C'mon Finney! You should go!" Billy said.

"Alrighttt" I say.

"YEAH!!" Bruce says putting a arm over my shoulder shaking me.

Friday came along and after school I told Gwen to stay and look after dad and she agreed.

I put on clean clothes and stepped outside, fuck.

They never told me where he lives. I look around the porch and walk about one block. I look to the other side and realize there's no way of getting to a place I don't know at night I'll go missing immediately.

I began to turn around walking back.
"Finney! You're going the wrong way" this guy yelled from across the street. I tried to make out his face but it was too dark. It was either Donna or Robin, but his voice told me it was Robin.

I ignored it and continued to walk back. I felt a arm over my shoulder again and it made me jump. " the fuck-!" I say before turning and seeing Robin.

"Woah man! Didn't mean to scare you, Bruce's house is that way though"

"Yeah I don't feel like going"

"What!? Why not?!"

"Well you never gave me the address and then all week I basically don't talk to anyone"

"What?! But we do talk to you!"

"Vance is always talking to Vance and Griffin and Billy are always talking and you always pick between them and Donna"

I really shouldn't be saying this.

"Oh.."
"Yeah"

"Well maybe if you'd sit next to me I'd talk to you!"

"After you got mad at me for fixing my hair?"
I need to stop.

"Look, Finney, just come to the party"

"No, trust me, I'm good"

"Then let's hang out"

"No"
Why am I being like this

"Why not?"

"Cause you need to go to your party"

"Okay that's it"
He said which is what I assuming him getting mad at me and storming off.

But no, he fucking picked me up and walked me to the party.
