It was then the thought struck her.
The heaviest of weights falling on her chest,
she began suffocating-
forgetting
how
to
breathe
correctly
Knees buckling, she falls to the floor with sobs escaping from her mouth
no matter how hard she tries to stifle them
What appeared to be the same lives lived were just a delusion
Her delusion
Stemmed from how she idolized her family
Placing them atop the highest pedestal
they could do no wrong
She had become blinded by her naivety
Because of this, she failed to see how broken her family was
And because of this...
her brother was dead.

A poem, I guess?
PoetryI know one day we all die, but I have this crippling fear of my little brother dying because of the choices he is making with his life. This is nothing more than me coping with that fear after he wound up in the hospital on death's door.
