Chills explore my entire body, sending ripples of fear through me.
Red lights start blinking, and all I can do is breathe heavily and stare in front of me.
As I started to get older (Around 6 years old), I didn't see dead people anymore. Well, I was seeing something. Whether It would be crying blood, showing off its reddened teeth, stretching its claws that were too long to be fingers, it still sends a horrifying shiver down my spine. I wasn't sure if they were people, or just built up balls of bad energy. But it terrified me to the point where I would hide and cry and never stop crying. My mom didn't know how to help me, and I used to tell her what I would see, but I don't think she ever really believed me.
You ask, what exactly did I see. Demons. Creatures. Things that you wouldn't believe existed.
I believe in demonic entities. Most demonic energies were never living, something beyond anyone can ever understand. Inhuman. And they look for certain things— Power, a human's body to latch themselves onto. They can manipulate you into thinking they are friendly, when they indeed are not.
I would have many sleepless nights; nights that I would spend staring at my ceiling, or feeling that little sense of paranoia that I wasn't truly alone. When I'd drag my gaze around my room which I always thought brought brightness because of its hues, I saw It. Except It wasn't in my mind anymore, It was peering around the corner with its fiery red eyes and its claw-like fingers were grasping the little slice of wall by my door.
This house did not inhabit demons. They would come; being drawn to the fact that I could see them, then they would go. They scared me, but they never stuck around to the point where I would see them more than once.
Entities can twist your feelings, make you become something you are not. And when messing with things like that, they may not come right away. The scariest part for me is that they are unpredictable. Once they spot their target, they stay with you until you're at your lowest, then they strike. Think of it as how a leech works. They suck your blood. When it's the demons turn, they suck you away until you become afraid of yourself.
Now this book is about my experiences, if you're afraid you have conjured something due to messing with it, I suggest you contact a professional and do your own research. There are various things that can conjure a demon, and for my own safety, I will not be listing them.
