Chapter 3

*Presenting Silent Dreams*

You and Bucky are standing in the elevator and to say that you were nervous was an understatement; you didn’t know these people and what their intentions are. Your nervousness must have traveled to Bucky or it was aggression because he sighed and put his hands up high on the wall like he was trying to tower over you. Which wasn’t very hard because of you small stator, he then bleats out, “They’ll like you, you’ll be like their little sister”. [How do you know that] you sign back, feeling a little scared. “Because of your eyes I think” he states almost sounds sarcastic but not quite; you are more surprised that he can read sign language than anything and it shows. [How do y…] but cannot finish until he starts talking “Nat made us all learn sign language 2 years ago in case Clint losted a hearing aid” he kindly states. It is then silent but just for a moment because the elevator dings to say it is at the floor. Next thing you know the door is opening and you are greeted with a very anxious Natasha and next to him is a blonde but smaller than Thor. He is about to stick his hand out but thankful Bucky stops him; he doesn’t scowl at him like he did at Happy though. You start looking at everyone but then you hear high heels clicking on the hard tile floor and a very frustrated voice almost yelling at Tony, ”Where are we going to put Steve if Y/n is going to take his room”. The smaller blond must be Steve because he picks his head up and turns it to the lady you can now see blond too, “What happened to my room”. Tony then speaks up, “Nothing Capicle, you are going to be sleeping in the room next to Thor’s”. “I won’t be sleeping in the room next to Steve”, Thor shouts back, “he snores”. You are then surrounded by laughter and the big man then sits down and pouts. An older man then takes your hand and shakes it, “My name is Bruce Banner”. “I’m the doctor around here” he adds. You then shutter at the word doctor. For the last two years you have had many different people who call themself doctors but all they do is make pain then prevent it. He has seen your discomfort because he states that he only helps people but you find this hard to believe but decided to leave it at that. Nat then comes to your side, “You don’t say very much”. [I don’t have very much to say] you sign, the redhead sighs but you two keep walking on. She then introduces you to another redhead, her name is Wanda and the guy that was in the front of the van also known as Clint. He states signing but doesn’t speak. [Sometimes this noise is unbearable, you can find anywhere where the noise is not]. You cannot help but laugh and reply [I find it more peaceful than the quiet]. He adds, [Well me and you don’t have that in common]. Natasha starts asking Clint if he has his hearing aids in but he doesn’t answer which must have answered her question because she starts signing words that you don’t wish to translate. You then start to wander off and find yourself in a room that is full of weights. That isn’t the only thing that you have found in that room because you see Thor looking up in the air. He must have received bad news because he was shaking his head in the air and signed. “Oh Loki, when will you learn to stop making trouble for our home? '' whispered Thor. His eyes then landed on you. “Are you losted” he asks; you quickly shake your head. “I’m sorry for being so rude on the ride here. I was just a little confused” he states in a pretty deep voice that you never noticed before. You nod to show you have forgiven him but just for precaution you sign it as well. He then kindly leads you to everyone else but once you guys are there he splits with you and whispers to Tony something and then leaves the room. You then find a nice comfy place to sit and get to know everybody.
