"C'mon fag, you said you'd fight me so wh-"
He was cut off as a someone hit his head with a book.
"This would be the fifth time I report you to the principal for bullying. I believe that would get you all suspended. So unless you want that to happen, leave."
"Fuck you Martin."
The male known as Martin only stared at them with a blank face as he watched the boy walk away.
Martin looked back at the boy who was on the ground and offered him his free hand, which the boy hesitantly took to stand up.
"..Thanks."
"Don't mention it." Martin let go of the boy's hand, "Are you the new kid?"
He nodded, "I'm Quinn, nice to meet you."
"It's a pleasure meeting you too, I'm Martin as previously said." He stated with a small head bow, noticing Quinn's gay pride pin on his jacket.
"Would you like me to show you around?"
Quinn looked at Martin with a semi-surprised face, but he nodded. "Sure,"
Martin nodded and he started walking away, with Quinn following behind.

"And lastly, this is the library. The desk to check out books is over there, and you can pretty much sit anywhere to read."
Quinn looked around, "Huh, this is cool. What kind of books do you ya guys have here?"
"Many, you could find anything here." Martin holds his own book close as he looked around.
"What book is that?"
Quinn asked making Martin look up at him, about to answer when he heard his name being called.
"Mr. Hill! We need your help in the science classroom!"
"Okay, I'll be over in a second!"
The teacher nodded and left the library, Martin looked back up at Quinn.
Royal purple eyes locked with white ones, and Martin said, "I hope you have a good day, if McKinley bothers you again, just let me know. I have to go now." And he quickly walked away.
Quinn watches as he walked away and noticed the cover of the book, 'The Song of Achilles'. Making him smile a little.

Quinn spent most of his time in the library during their lunch period. Hearing every so often the small laughs and giggles from girls in their groups who pretend to read but they're really on their phones or watching others, along with girls with their boyfriends. It didn't exactly bother him as he could just tune them out with his music.
