(Xornoth's POV)
{3 weeks later, LA, 9:30AM...}
"Bye, Danny! Sorry about you having to delay your trip!" The door slams shut. Joey comes upstairs, smiling at me. "The dogs are downstairs. You can come down now since Daniel's gone." I walk downstairs with Joey, into the kitchen. 4 huskies and a golden retriever sit in the kitchen, waiting by the fridge. "Xornoth, this is Wolf, Storm, Lark, Moon and Montana!" Joey says, giggling. Storm pads over to be, and I bend down to stroke his ears. "That's weird. Storm never likes anyone but me and Daniel." I smile, stroking his ears. Joey feeds all the dogs before taking my hand and leading me upstairs. He opens a door and pulls me in, shutting it behind him. A black cat appears, coming towards us. "This is Sakura. She is my favourite cat." Joey says, picking her up and stroking her stomach. Sakura purrs, stretching out on his lap. "You have a lot of animals, babe." I say, kissing his cheek. "Well Storm, Lark and Montana aren't mine, really. Storm and Montana are Daniel's, and Lark is Daniel's mother." He says, letting Sakura jump down.
I hug Joey, letting his head lay against my chest. "I can't believe this is happening. I really thought that I wouldn't find someone who was as kind and loving as Daniel was to me. But then I found you, Xornoth. You make me feel that I have a second chance at love." He says, tears in his eyes. He turns and kisses me, fingers getting tangled in my hair. We kiss like we don't need oxygen and that when we finally pull away, we are gasping for air.
Joey puts his forehead against mine, tears running down his cheeks. "Don't cry." I say, wiping his tears away.
"Joey, I love you. I feel like I can fly when I'm with you. You complete me in ways that I thought no one could. I love you, Joey." I say. Joey kisses me again, and the world feels perfect.
{2 days later, 12:30PM.}
"Xornoth!"
I run up the stairs, and into the bedroom. "In here!" I walk into the en suite and see Joey in the shower. I strip and join him, shutting the shower door behind me. "Yeah?" I say, wrapping my arms around him. "Let's go in the pool today!" He says. I unwrap my arms so that he can turn around to face me. "Sure." I say. Joey grins, kissing me.
We come out of the shower and pull on some trunks, racing each other to the pool. Joey gets there before me, and dives in, splashing me with water. "Joey!" I shriek, jumping as the cold water hits my skin. Joey laughs, yelping as I dive bomb in. I run a hand through my dripping blue hair, scowling playfully at him. "You're hot when your hair's wet." Joey blurts out. I chuckle as he blushes, splashing me. "Shut up!" He giggles, dunking my head under the water. "You little-" Joey kisses me gently, wrapping his arms around my neck. I pull away briefly, shaking my head and laughing. "Really?" I giggle. Joey grins, squeezing my butt quickly. I gasp, trying to grab him.
"You cheeky bitch!" I shout with laughter. I go to grab him, and Joey shrieks, trying to paddle away from me.
Joey squeals as I grab him, his hair plastered to his face. He wraps his legs around my waist, trying to tip me over. "I love you." He says, our noses touching slightly. "I love you more." I say, kissing him gently.
A/N: I loved writing that chapter! I'm so happy that Joey and Xornoth are madly in love and that Joey had another chance at love! I'm not sure who is the next POV! So until next time! Byeeee!
