A/N: Chapter 23!
(Joey's POV)
I hang up and walk back into the hospital room. Everyone looks at me, waiting for my answer.
"Luna says that she's on her way." I say. Lizzie nods, tears streaming down her face as she strokes Oli's hand. "Okay." She whispers. I go over and sit next to Daniel. He hugs me, and I rest my head on his shoulder, blinking away my tears.
(25 minutes later...)
Luna texts me, saying that she's in the waiting room. "Luna's in the waiting room. I'm going to get her." I say. Everyone nods. "Also, Scott and Lauren. Keep what has happened to yourself." I add. They both nod.
I walk downstairs to find Luna in the waiting room with another girl sitting with her. She has ginger hair and amber eyes. Luna runs up and hugs me, crying softly. "Do you want me to come up?" The ginger-haired girl asks. Luna nods. "This is my friend Chelsea. Chelsea, this is Joey." Luna introduces us. I wave, and she waves back. We all walk up the stairs in silence. My phone beeps and I check it.
(Texts between Daniel and Joey)
D❤: Oli's woken up.
Joey: Oh sh*t.
(Out of texts)
We get to Oli's room. I open the door. "Luna?" Oli says. Luna walks up to the bed and sits next to him. She kisses his hand. Oli sighs gripping on tightly to her hand.
