They drove for what felt like forty minutes but they finally made it to their destination.
“The Nexus Hotel” Raph said as they pulled up in front of Big Mama’s Hotel.
“What do you think she’s planning?” Donnie asked.
“I’m not sure.” Leo responded. “But whatever it is..we have to stop it.”
“I hope it’s not anything too scary.” Mikey quietly said.
“We’ll be fine. As long as we stay together.” Raph said as he smiled reassuringly.
They four boys began to get out of the Turtle Tank. As they did they were greeted by a very familiar face.
“Howdy Doo Turtle Boos.” Big Mama said with a smile on her face. “I knew you all would be coming here.”
The boys quickly pulled out their weapons.
“How did you know we were on our way?” Raph sternly asked her.
“I have my ways dear.” She replied.
“What are you planning..?” Leo asked as he glared at her.
She didn't respond. All she did was pull out a small pink orb. They boys were confused but they didn't let down their guard.
“What is that…” Donnie worryingly asked her.
“Just a new toy I managed to obtain.”
She turned to Leo..and suddenly her sweet smile turned into a menacing one as the orb began to glow a dark shade of pink. Leo stared at her in fear.
“Oh no…guys don't let her-”
Big Mama cut Leo off.
“Too late”
She threw the orb in the air. The boys watched in horror as the orb began to spurt out huge chains.
“Run!!” Raph shouted.
They all began to take off in different directions. Mikey and Raph ran to the left and Leo and Donnie ran to the right. They were separated…which is something they did not want to be.
“Leo!!”
“I know…we’ll catch up to them later. Right now we have to find shelter so we can come up with a plan to stop that orb.”
Leo and Donnie kept running until they finally found something they could hide under.
“What do we do?!” Donnie asked.
“I’m not sure yet..” Leo responded. “But I’ll figure it out, I promise.”
All of a sudden one of the chains grabbed Donnie by the leg.
“Shit!!”
Donnie desperately tried to get it off of him but it wouldn’t budge.
“Dee!!”
Leo quickly began to help his brother with the chain. As they struggled with the chain…it began to pull Donnie to where the orb was located.
“Nardo…Nardo get this chain off..!”
Leo panicked..but he managed to come up with a plan. He quickly grabbed his sword and attempted to cut the chain.
“Fuck it didn't work..!”
“Try it again…!”
Leo kept cutting at the chain until it eventually broke. Leo grabbed Donnie’s hand.
“We gotta go!!”
They two began running again.
“Do you have a plan?”
“Kinda…I can try and portal up to where the orb is and stab it.”
“Will that work?”
“I don't know…but I gotta try. We can’t let that thing destroy the city.”
“Alright. I’ll cover you.”
Leo nodded.
They two stopped running and Leo began to make a portal. The chains began to attack them as he was making the portal so Donnie pulled out his weapon and tried his best to keep the chains from reaching him or his brother.
“Got it!!” Leo shouted.
“Be careful Leo…” Donnie said.
“Don't worry hermano…no matter what happens to me I’ll be ok…”
“Wait..no matter what happens?!”
Leo smiled.
“You know something..don't you? About that orb…”
Leo didn't respond.
“Tell me what you know….”
“Dee…”
“Tell me Leo!”
Leo sighed.
“Ok.” He said as he started to explain.”That orb is called The Prism Orb. It has the power to trap and or kill hundreds of people with those chains.Big Mama wants to destroy New York with that orb which is why we have to stop that thing. Now I don't know exactly how to stop it..but I have a hunch that if I stab it with my sword the power that orb stores will vanish.”
“What happens if you get close to it…?”
“Don't know. I guess we’re about to find out.”
Leo started to walk through the portal.
“Waitwaitwait Nardo no-”
The portal closed and when Donnie looked up and saw a shining blue light in the sky.
“Please…don’t die up there…”
