~Cant Lose You Again~

~Chapter 6:Chains That Kill~

Leo dropped from the portal and saw that he was right above the orb.

"Perfect." He said as he was falling from the sky.

He grabbed his sword and prepared himself for any of the chains that may attack him. The chains didn't attack him at first but as he got closer the chains began to charge at him. Leo cut the chains that attacked him and watched as they disappeared. Within a few minutes he was close enough to the orb to where he could stab through it.

"Alright..here I go."

Leo tightly gripped his sword and stabbed the orb directly through the middle. The chains immediately stopped moving. Leo smiled at the site.

"Hey Dee!! I got it!! It worked!!" He shouted...hoping that his twin heard him.

Donnie looked up at him and smiled. He definitely heard him.

"Can you get down!?" He shouted back.

"Uuuum..no!!" Leo said as laughed.

"Alright hang tight!! I'm coming to get you!!"

"Ok but hurry!! I don't know how long I can hold on!!"

Donnie geared up his tech, connected to his battle shell and began to fly to where his brother was. Suddenly the orb began to glow again...and in a blink of an eye one of the chains stabbed him right through his side causing him to let go of his sword.

"Nonononononono!!" Donnie frantically shouted.

He started flying at rapid speed in a desperate attempt to save his sibling. He managed to catch up to him before he hit the ground.

"Leo..Leo are you ok...please tell me that you're ok!!" Donnie said panicking

"Donnie..."

That was the only Leo was able to say at the moment.

"It's...it's ok everything is gonna be fine. I got you..."

Donnie quickly found a safe place to land and sat Leo there. Donnie looked at the orb and saw that his sword was still inside of it but some of the chains were still moving.

"Don't worry Dee...it doesn't have enough power to destroy New York...not anymore..."

"Yeah but it had enough power to stab you in the side!! I-I'll contact the othe-"

"Don't..."

"What why!?"

"They...may or may not already know...I saw them running when I was up there. They're probably on their way...anywhizzle..it seems that my plan worked...the orb's power is dying."

Leo pointed to the orb and Donnie looked up at it.

"Yeah it worked but at what cost..Nardo you're about to die...!!"

"I'll..be fine Donnie.."

"No...no you...you don't get it.."

"Dee..it'll be-"

"No it won't!!"

Things fell silent for a second.

"I had a dream...that you died..Leo. Ever since...the whole situation with the Krang I've been having..the same DAMNED dream over and over again where you died and there was nothing I could do..to save you. And this situation...is just like that dream. Hell I can't even call it a dream its a fucking nightmare Leo I...I don't wanna lose you I almost lost you once I cant lose you again!!"

Leo looked at his brother who was now crying.

"Is..that what you didn't want to tell me...?"

"Yes I-...I was scared..hell Im scared now. Leo please you gotta tell me that you're gonna be ok please...!!"

Leo looked at the blood on his hand..then looked back at Donnie.

"I-..I don't know I'm gonna make it Dee..."

"No..nonononono...you have to..you have to make it..you're-you're gonna make it..."

"Don..."

"Nardo please you have to stay with me please...Mikey needs you Raph needs you I need you..you can't-..I don't want you to die-"

"Don..look at me..."

Donnie sadly looked at Leo. Leo could see the fear in his eyes and honestly he was scared too...but he smiled.

"I know I don't say this often enough but...I love you...ok?"

And in that moment,Leo started to pass out from the blood loss...and Donnie pancikly watched as his brother's eyes began to close.

"Leo...Leo!!"

There was no response.

"Come on please you gotta get up.."

There was still no response. At that point...Donnie started to cry a lot harder than he already was. He screamed for Mikey and Raph hoping that they were close by. He didn't want to believe it...but it seemed to be that his nightmare...may or may not be true.
