The next morning Joseph joestar was looking for his daughter Holly which surprisingly to say she was practically nowhere to be found
"Holly, Holly where are you look at these! These are Jotaro's pants! where are mine?" He rubbed his eyes sleepily as it was early in the morning
"I mean they fit me, but look at them I cannot wear the! Hey Holly, Holly answer me" Joseph said Willow walked past him hitting him with a frying pan making him pass out
Willow's pov
God finally some peace and quiet I walked out to find jotaro waiting for me "that's strange" He said "what's strange?" I asked
"Usually mom would be all over me and say goodbye as I went to school" he looked pretty concerned I guess this hasn't happened before
"I'll go and see if she's ok" I said and walked back inside to go and look for holly I spotted the kitchen and there was holly passed out in the ground
I rushed over to her "holly" I said and checked her pulse she's still breathing but it's slow I pulled down the back of her shirt and saw she had a stand
"We were so relieved dio's body had only affected Jojo and Mr joestar we thought Ms holly escaped unscathed but we were deluding ourselves" Avdol said 'when did he get in here?' I thought to myself
Avdol continued to speak "This was inevitable with joestar blood in her veins dio's influence is inescapable" Avdol said gritting his teeth
"But a stand is guided by its users fighting spirit. A stand is called to action by one's fighting instincts. The kind and gentle miss holly is helpless against dio's curse" Avdol said
"She does not have the strength to control her stand. Instead her stand is acting against her, crippling her this is an emergency at this rate...she will die" Avdol said
I heard Joseph and jotaro at the doorframe to the kitchen 'seriously when did they even get their I didn't hear them come in' I thought to myself
I clenched my fists tightly and shout "THIS IS TOO DAMN DEPRESSING" I gained the attention of everyone in the room
"Don't talk like she's dead yet there's still got to be a way to save her" I said I seemed to catch a glimpse of surprise on Jotaro's face after he composed himself "tell me what can we do" jotaro said
"There is one thing we must find dio, we must kill dio and break the curse! It is our only hope!!! Our only option" Joseph said
They set up a things in Holly's room like a doctors office the speedwagon foundation sent over their best doctors to help holly
"The darkness is impenetrable" Avdol said looking at some photos that Joseph took of dio behind his back I could see as clear as day
"Hey there's a fly in this photo" I said "hah how are you able to see that well" Joseph said I shrugged "beats me recently my animal instincts are taking over" I said
Jotaro's stand held up the picture of the fly "wait a moment I know this species Jojo do you have an encyclopedia" Avdol said
"The library is out back" jotaro said "give me the sketch I will be back" Avdol said running out of the room to the library
I then heard jotaro say "freeze stay in bed" shocking everyone in the room including me "I mean you should take it easy until the fever goes down" he said
"You are right, you are all so nice to me when I'm sick...I guess getting sick once in awhile is not so bad" she said then suddenly passed out
"Mr Joestar I have found it that fly is the nile tsetse fly" he said "hold on a Egyptian fly?" I asked "yes he must be in the aswan region that is where we find dio" Avdol said
"So he is in Egypt after all" I turned my head to see kakyoin "what do you mean kakyoin?" I asked a bit curious why he said that
"It was 3 months after he embedded the flesh bud into my brain I met dio while traveling with my family on the nile in Egypt" kakyoin said
"You were in Egypt too? It seems dio wished to remain in Egypt" Avdol said "when do we leave I'm going with you" kakyoin said
"With us why?" Jotaro asked "who can say...I cannot say I know the answer myself" kakyoin said 'that sounds similar to what jotaro said yesterday' I thought to myself
"There are doctors from the speedwagon foundation they will take care of holly around the clock" Joseph said
"Jojo before we leave I am a fortune teller allow me to give your stand it's name with the tarot the cards of fate. Draw a card but do not look at it" avdol said
"It will reveal your destiny along with the power of your stand" Avdol said jotaro picked a card and didn't look
"Your card it is the star. Therefore your stand shall be named star platinum "alright Let's hit the road" they all said I sweatdrop
In the car heading to the airport...
"Oh good grief" I said "you stealing my catchphrase now" jotaro said sitting next to me and kakyoin in the back "why you gonna hit me for saying it" I said
"Tempting" he said I rolled my eyes and smirked "smartass" I said and he lowered his hat I swear I couldn't see a small smile grace his lips but I guess that's just me
"So Willow might I ask how you got in this situation" kakyoin said "yeah sure but it's going to be a long story" I said
"I think we have enough time until we get to the airport so talk away" kakyoin said while jotaro just looked out the window disinterested 'ugh why must I get into these situations' I thought to myself
