Chapter 26

*Jenn's POV*

I was walking in the hall with Lauren when I smelled something.

"Lauren? Lauren?" She stopped walking.

"You smell that?", I ask her. She sniffs.

"Yeah I do." We keep sniffing, the smell getting closer and closer. We stop sniffing when we realize where the smell comes from. I recognized it. It was coming from one of the rooms in the hallway. We sniffed again. Tobacco.

"Someone smoking?", I ask. Lauren shrugs her shoulders. We both looked in the window of the room, without getting caught. It was the same doctors who beat us up. They were smoking Lauren's cigarettes.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me.", I say.

"They wouldn't let us smoke.", Lauren says.

"I know."

"Should we bust them?", I ask.

"If we do that, they're gonna get fired." We both look at each other.

"Yeah let's do it.", we both say. We bust open the door.

"I thought you couldn't smoke here.", I say.

"Yeah, but who cares.", one of the smokers say. Someone comes in the room.

"What the hell is going on in here?", the person says.

"We caught them smoking.", I say pointing to the culprits.

"They are such hypocrite. They tell us we can't smoke in here, but they do it.", Lauren says.

"Wait wait, you've been caught smoking here before?", the person asks.

"No, but-"

"Yeah they were caught before.", one of the doctors say. The random person grabs our arm and drags us outside of the room. He beat us. He punched, until we fell to the floor. Blood drips from my nose and lip. I can't believe it. I was being beat and this time, I didn't even deserve it.
