“Daddy look ball.”he says running towards the ball.
“Yup you want to play with it Andre?”he asks
“Yes.” he replies
You walk in the house from work.
“Mommy!” he says with glee”Hi mommy”
“Hi baby.”you pick him up” Hey Prod.” you give him a hug
“We share something so common, still so rare and I’m in awe never been here before.”he whispers in your ear” How are even together still? We don’t even notice each other. We are always so busy.” he continues
“Mommy i’m tired.” Andre yawns
“Ok i’m going to put you to bed for a nap.”you take your son upstairs to your room.
“So high we’re still climbing even here inside these walls breaking each others heart and we keep constantly doing it. Why are we doing this to us Y/n?!” he screams from downstairs.
“Shhh Prod Dre is trying to go to sleep!” you yell back
Five minutes later you come downstairs.
“In too deep can’t think abut giving it up but I never knew love would feel like a heart attack.”You think to yourself.”Prod are you crying?” you ask him
“It’s killing me so much to know that we are not the same. Y/n I’ve never cried so much.” he says” Cause I never knew love would hurt this fucking bad this the worst pain that I ever had.”he continues
“I understand baby.” you respond.
“All the times when I know I should be smiling seems to be the time when I frown the most.”he tells you
“How?” you asked
“When I was playing with I had a frown on the whole time but I chose to cover that frown with a smile but he’s smart he figured something was wrong with me.” he explains
“Wow he can do that he’s smart ! year old.”You say as he pulls you close to him. ” Prod I can’t believe that were still surviving when we are both hurt.” you continue as he tears on your shoulder
“As you can see I’m slowly breaking down even when I hold you close. But if I lose you i’m afraid I would lose who I gave my love to but that’s reason I stay around.” he began to tear a little more which made you cry because you never seen Prod Like this before.
“Baby we just have to keep trying to make it work.” you say comforting him.
“It hurts cause I wanna leave and you wanna leave but its the love that keeps us together.” he continues as he wipes his tears.
I’m not leaving you I don’t give a damn I promised no no no we promised ever since we had our son we would stay together no matter what happen we just have to find more time together.” you say wiping your tears.
“I know but I never knew love will feel like this.” he pause ” This shit is serious.Love really does feel like a damn heart attack.” he continues
“The pain is real baby and we have to try and make it work to stop making it feel like this.” Andre attempts to walk downstairs
“Hello mommy, hello daddy,” Andre says
“Please catch my baby before he falls downstairs.” you hit Prod.
“Come here Dre.”Andre jumps off the stairs into his daddy’s arms”Oh shit you’re a dare devil huh?”
Andre looks around”What’s the matter mommy and Daddy?” he asked
“Nothing just fixing ourselves up that’s all.” you respond
“Ready to fix this relationship?” Prod asked
