I had to rewrite this part because otherwise it was too difficult to read in the story. But it's fixed now!

{ George's pov / Thursday evening 8:30pm }

This was night two Nick is away but I didn't want to be alone after a hard day of work. I called Clay and asked if he could come over.

Of course he immediately said yes and was on his way. I had cleaned everything up and put a few candles on. I heard the doorbell and got excited. I walked to the door and opened it.

"Hey you." I said as Clay stood in front of me. "Hey, beauty." I blushed at his compliment. "Come on in." I said. He did as I said and took off his coat and shoes.

"I have white and red wine, but also other drinks and alcohol." I said as we looked at each other. He wrapped his arms around my hips. I threw my arms around his neck and put my forehead against his. "I've missed you." He said. "It was only a week." I said. "Exactly, too long." He said as he kissed my cheek.

"You are so sweet." I said. We leaned forward and kissed each other. But a second later he pulled away. "Watch out, Nick will see us." He said as he looked at the stairs. "No Nick is at school camp remember?" I said. He looked at me. "Oh yeah, forgot. Sorry I just don't want to upset him any more."

"It'll be fine, he just needs to get used to you." I said. "You've been saying that for months." He said with a sigh. "I know but… I keep saying that because that's what I'm hoping for." I said, I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"I hope so too. And if not... we'll find a solution." He kissed my head. I smiled. "Anyway, it's not about Nick now, it's about us tonight." He smiled. We let go and walked to the kitchen.

-

After a glass of wine, good talk and lots of laughter and smiles, we huddled closer and closer. We looked into each other's eyes as Clay spoke. "And so I arrived at the store..." His voice grew softer. I laughed at the story. He smiled and leaned forward softly.

I kissed him back. We were so in the moment. We were out of breath and pulled away. "Go to my bedroom I'll be right there." I said. He kissed my cheek and did as I asked without questions.

I walked around the house blowing out the candles so my house didn't catch on fire. I walked upstairs and found Clay lying on my bed. I turned off the light and turned my LED lights on to red. I sat on the bed and kissed my boyfriend.

Tonight was the night.

-

It was about 11pm. I lay with my back on the mattress, Clay plopped down next to me. We had just finished the dirty and tried to catch our breath.

"That...was so good." He said after a few seconds. I nodded my head. "After all this time, I even forgot what it felt like, god…" I spoke. I heard him laugh a bit.
I turned on my side so I could see him.

"I'll change the sheets while you're already setting up a bath okay, I'll be right there." He said. I smiled. "Do you really want to do that?" I asked. "Of course, go," he said. I kissed his cheek and went to the bathroom.

-

After that great evening we fell asleep together on the changed sheets. I was awakened by a loud noise. It was my alarm clock going off. I pressed the button and turned around. I opened my eyes softly but there was no one lying next to me. I sat up and thought about yesterday, it can't be that I dreamed it, you can't recreate such a feeling in even 1000 years.

I threw my legs on the edge of the bed and got up. I changed clothes and went downstairs. As I walked down the stairs, an intense and strong smell hit me. A seductive and delicious smell.

"Good morning." I said as I stood next to him and inspects the dish. "A good morning you too." My boyfriend said back. I smiled and asked what he was making. "I'm making pancakes with maple syrup and strawberries." He said. "When did you have time to get all this?" I asked. "I found it in your kitchen cabinets." He said. "I had maple syrup in my cabinets? Damn." I said.

He chuckled and handed me a plate. Then he turned off the stove. "I'm sorry I just touched your stuff." He said as he put everything in the sink. I took a bite of his pancakes. My eyes enlarge. "Omg, you're forgiven. What the hell is this!" I said excitedly I took another bite and another.

"This. Is. Heaven!" I said. He smiled. "I'm glad you like it." He said. "By the way I put your things together, your phone is charged, I made you lunch, your keys are already on the cupboard at the front door, oh and I got you a coffee. So you don't have to go to work stressed."

He said I looked at him and could cry. I stood up and gave him a hug. "Thank you babe." I said. "He hugged me back and gave me a kiss on the head.

"No problem, I hope you have everything you need." I nodded vigorously. "This is perfect." I said. He smiled. "I would like to give you a present before you have to leave but unfortunately there is no time.." George said. Clay grinned. "Since you're basically done and just need to brush your teeth, you have about 10 minutes to get ready." he said excitedly.

"What a smart young man." I said as I pulled his hand and dragged him upstairs.

-

Later I came to work with a smile. "You are cheerful." Niki said as I passed her. "I'll explain it to you at lunch." I said blushing.
