Chapter-3: A duel

Riser POV

Rias is no good, but her brother is lucifer. I can't rule it out so quickly. What should I do now...I called everyone for an emergency meeting.

"What should I do...About the engagement " I told them...

"You should cancel it...Rias is a bitch " Ravel said with distaste.

"Wait, my lord! Rias is the sister of Lucifer...Marrying her is indeed a good opportunity " Yubellena said.

"Plus you get her peerage along with her...Nothing wrong with having additional servants " Siris said.

"And marrying someone doesn't mean you have to love them....You can have her as your slave " Karlamine said.

"Even so Rias is too much annoying for my brother. " Ravel argued.

"She can't win against Lord Riser...She is too weak to argue with him " Yubellena said.

"B-But," Ravel said.

"Lord Riser can divorce her whenever he wants...For now, we should agree to gain some favors from the current Lucifer " Mihae said

"I think this is indeed a tough decision to make but I should not withdraw the engagement yet...Rias's family has a lot of political power in the underworld.....We can't miss out on this kind of opportunity as Yubellena as said...All marriages aren't romantic to be fair. This is just a political marriage nothing more...It is only for namesake " Riser said.

"Fine, But no special treatment to her....Or else I would be mad if my big brother treats her better than me " Ravel pouted... Ravel didn't want her brother to be taken away from her....It is a childish side of her.

"I got it. No worries " Riser said as he begins to pat Ravel's head...Ravel blushed at the touch of her brother's hand.

"Onii-Sama " Ravel muttered embarrassed.

"Rias better treat him right....Or I will kung-fu her head, " Xuelan said.

"You are all invited to the engagement party then...Have fun guys " I told them.

Riser POV

I am at the engagement party it looks like everyone is having the time of their day....It looks my family is more excited than me at my engagement...well, everyone except Ravel.

It seems Ravel hates Rias as much as Rias hates me.

"Riser...I refuse to submit to you " Rias complained to me.

She is making me look like I am forcing her...Man, I think Issei might approach us and challenge me to a duel.

Can I legally kill Issei now? He would be troublesome if he is left aside with his plot armor intact.

I am very proud that my sister beat Issei with plot armor. She created new hope for me to finish Issei off.

I am not very comfortable with murdering people around, but I live in a world where people can kill me easily...So it's bad for me and my family if I am merciful here.

It's crazy how being a devil messes up your morals. Although it's fun being a devil.

*Boom*

What the heck...What are the guards doing? I should reduce their pay...They are not doing their job right...

"Riser you bastard how dare you take Rias away from me," Issei said while approaching me.

Man, who is gonna pay for these damages? For the fuck's sake come from the door like a normal man. Why do these shounen mc's break everything?

"Riser you coward...You didn't even try to fight...Fight me now man to man. Right here. Winner gets to keep Rias " Issei said.

"You should die like the idiot you are for insulting my brother " Ravel tried to kill him.

Should I allow her to kill him...Maybe I should.

"I propose a battle between Issei and Riser. " Sirzechs said.

Why does he favor issei so much? Like a sister like a brother. I guess I can ask something from him.

"What do I get benefits from, " I asked him.

"I will allow you a wish if you win, " He told me.

Does that mean I can ask for Grayfia...Probably not. He will definitely kill me if I ask that...Maybe I should ask for political power or something powerful later on.

"I will agree. " I said.

"Kill him, Big brother " Ravel cheered happily.

Damn it, don't make such a cute face while asking that. Why are devil women so crazy? It's like they are on periods the whole year. Nothing I can't control though.

I prepared for the battle.

"Show me everything you got Issei," I said. Why did I even ask that I should finish him as fast as I can?

"Here it comes Boost, Boost...Here you go " Issei tried to punch me...I tried to block it.

Issei hit me with his fist....and......I didn't even feel it...It felt like some baby swatted me. Is he serious? Did he intend to harm me at all?

Ok fine Here I go " [Phenex fire waves] " I chanted as I released a wave of Fire at him...

It seems like I used more power than necessary...And it burned him.

"AAAAAAHHAHAHAHHAHHAHAAH " Issei screamed.

He is burning. He burned. He burned...Until only his bones remained.

"ISSEI " Rias screamed. Damn, I think I killed him. Did I overestimate him so much?

How did I finish him easily...Why didn't his plot armor work? Did I miss something? I am stronger than canon Riser but how does Issei die so quick? Or Is there something ominous happening?

"Oh yeah! That happens when you mess with my brother" Ravel jumped with joy...Why is she sadistic...I think I influenced her.

I guess I should say something

"All according to plan, well-done Riser-Sama" Yubellena told them trying to make a persona.

Ravel glared at Yubellena...While Yubellena tried to calm her down.

"Ravel-sama I c-can explain " Yubellena said.

"You understood my brother's plan...While I only get 50 percent of his plan " Ravel complained.

"50 percent...I only understood 10 percent of Riser-sama plan " Siris argued.

Nothing was according to plan Yubellena. There wasn't even a plan at all. He just died that's all.

"There is a plan? " I said.

Holy graces! My peerage is a bunch of weirdos arguing with each other.

"Riser! You PAY for killing Issei " Rias screamed.

Now she definitely has a reason to hate me...Well, anyway. I don't care whether she likes or not. I have her brother's favor.

"Riser now you can wish whatever you want..." Sirzechs said.

Stop trying to hide that you wished me to lose Sirzechs...You siscon...Just because Rias hates me, you don't like me too.
