Lover not a fighter - Spider

Chloe stirred in her sleep feeling something jab her neck. It became so incessant that she peeled her eyes open to recognise she was not in her own bed. 

Seeing she was in Amerie's room she felt relieved but shoved the girl sleeping next to her at the other end of the bed who was poking her neck with her big toe.

"Oi get your foot out of my face." She groaned trying to roll onto her side.

At the sound of hearing she had successfully woke her friend up Am jumped to her feet still on the bed and flopped her body down on top of Chloe's. She began writhing around letting out little squeals of excitement.

"Guess what guess what guess what?" She chanted until Chloe lifted her head from the mattress  to look to the girl.

"Oh Am just spit it out, too early for this shit." She was not a morning person. Even more so after a night of drinking.

"I may or may not have spoke with Dusty a little bit."

"Come on is that why I'm suffocating under you right now?"

"Oh and you know we may have kissed a little."

"Wait really?" She shot back up at the revealing news.

"See now you're interested. Yes I did. And it was magical." She swooned finally getting up from the bed and pulling Chloe with her to find the two of them some fresh clothes for school.

"Wow must say, actually impressed Am good for you. I know how long you've liked him so you should go for it. If that's what you want." Chloe smiled as she began searching through Am's clothes before throwing something on and brushing her hair. 

"Hey don't think I didn't see Spider walk you here last night. I put your phone on charge for you he's been sending you a shit ton of messages since you passed out last night. Whats that all about." Am studied her pointedly trying to figure out how two polar opposites seem to be a thing now. Or whatever it was. Chloe chose not to speak. 

"What you're just gonna ignore me? Is that what you're gonna do with Spider at school today?" Am pushed as she tied her shoe laces.

"If I don't acknowledge it then it didn't happen okay." She stated as she threw the curtains open making the two girls squint slightly at the harsh light.

"No no no, you always do this. Something happens with a guy then you drop them so you don't have to deal with anything serious."

"I just don't want to hurt anyone's feelings." Chloe trie to reason. Even though it was Spider who was a notorious dickhead, she would much rather avoid confrontation or any situation where she would be made to explain herself or her feelings. Chloe was unsure if she even had feelings for Spider. She was drunk. She would blame that until she believed it herself. 

"Nah sounds like to me you've got some serious commitment issues Chlo." Am placed a hand on her shoulder giving her a slight shake.

"I told you it's too early for this shit talk can we just go to school already so I can avoid your lectures."

The two girls ate quickly before starting the short walk to school. Along the way Am gushed more about her kiss with Dusty and asked a little more about her walk home with Spider to find out they too had kissed. No way would Amerie let her ever forget such a thing. 

Whilst on their walk Chloe checked her phone to see that Spider had sent her quite a few messages.
