Lighting interrupting the loud voices going on in my mind. Raindrops giving music to my dark world. My feet running and my damp hair sticking to my forehead.
I removed my coat still shivering. The lit fire giving warmth around the room. My dog comes running welcoming me. I change into comforting clothes and sit thereby with a cup of coffee.
I wonder what fire looks like; I know that burning flames of red or orange color breaking into small pieces which give heat across the room, clutching on to any surface it maybe in. But how does it really look like?
My dog, Shades sits beside me with his plushies nibbing on them.
The coffee tastes bitter and a bit of sweet in it, just the way I like.
Flashback
"Mom!" I came running burying my face in her embrace.
She smiled and hugged me caressing my head.
"Mom, can I get some money? Please~" I asked with puppy eyes.
"Why do you need money? Hm?" She asked and pinched my nose as she kneeled down.
"I want a chocolate! Please say yes! Please~"
"Okay-okay"End Flashback
I smiled at the memory of my mother. She was really nice. Right now, she lives at Australia with our grandparents.
I kept the peach colored mug and stood near the window. My hand goes forward and links on the cold glass. The screeching noise follows while I wipe, this gets my dogs attention.
We both stand there while looking out. I start caressing his head. I bought Shades when he was a small being. Actually, my mother gifted me him when I was 20, it's been 5 years now. He's the only one who lives with me.
I walk back to my room and lie down on my bed. While, cuddling with Shades while I think of the my song. A song I've been writing since two years, stopping between and again continuing.
It's hard to get the right lyrics when, you don't know how it really feels. The feeling of being loved by someone else rather than my parents. Someone unknown, like fate.
I don't know how that's supposed to feel but as much as I know, it's unconditional and eternal.
I wish someone like that comes soon; but I don't think anyone would choose someone having this sight. Achromatopsia.___
I felt weight on my chest...like something heavy and warm. I was sweating. I felt like sleeping under hot sun on a sunny beach. My throat was dry. Craving for water. My eyes shoot open, just to see Shades snoring on top of me.
I move him and look out. Rain water everywhere. The floor was cold, and so is the weather. After I brushed and did all of my chores.
I left my house wearing a white shirt tugged in, brown pants and a sweater. My hair ending above waist with my bangs on my forehead.
I hope this day goes well; though I know this life my life is monotonous; its always like that.
