The sound of chatter filled the streets, floating past Yue's ears. The bright lights illuminated her figure as she darted through the crowd, not a soul noticing her presence. She flew into an alleyway, her footsteps barely making a sound. She stopped, looking back to make sure that nobody noticed her.
She released a breath, her tense body relaxing after confirming that nobody saw. Yue stepped out of the shadows, stretching her body. She sighed, closing her eyes as she fixed up her ponytail. Her hands dropped to her side, placing them inside her jacket's pockets. She began walking towards the end of the alleyway, carefully avoiding the dirt and grime on the concrete.
Yue pulled out her phone, checking her schedule. She hummed, pleased that she didn't have anything to do tomorrow. She closed her phone, putting it back in her pocket as she stepped out of the alleyway. She groaned, rubbing her eyes as she was hit with bright lights from an apartment building. After she regained her eyesight, she began to walk toward the building.
The door groaned as she pushed it open, making her winced at the sound. The first thing Yue noticed when she entered the apartment was that nobody was there. The sound of her sneakers hitting the ground echoed in the empty room as she headed to the elevator. She then clicked on the button to go up, staring at the digital arrow above the elevator as it repeatedly moved down.
The elevator dinged as its doors opened. Yue stepped inside, clicking the button for floor 4. Her feet tapped against the elevator floor, waiting to arrive at her floor as the elevator went up. She began humming as the elevator began playing a little tune. A few minutes later, the elevator dinged, signaling that it arrived at her floor.
Yue stepped out of the elevator, the sound of her shoes hitting the floor echoed through the floor as she walked down the hallway. She then stopped at her apartment, reaching into her pocket for her keys. She pulled it out, inserting it into the lock before opening the door with a silent click. The door shut behind her as she breathed in the familiar scent of her home.
She took off her shoes, placing them neatly next to the door before dragging herself into her bathroom to change into her pajamas. After a few minutes, Yue entered her room, sighing as she dropped her body onto her bed. She buried her head into her pillow, squeezing the life out of it.
She flipped onto her back, fishing out her phone from her pajama's pocket. She opened her phone, once again looking at her schedule. She stared blankly at the empty slots, lost in her thoughts. Her eyes then lit up as she get an idea of what to do tomorrow.
'I think I'll go visit MK at Pigsy's tomorrow,' Yue thought, humming as she wrote down her plan on an empty slot. She yawned, closing her phone and placing it on her bedside table. She closed her eyes, letting herself slip into unconsciousness.
