Solar was up early the next day, ready to start training with FallenMist again. She leaped out of her nest, grooming her pelt as raven padded in with his usual load of prey for all the trainees. "Thanks Raven!" She purred, heading over to pick out her breakfast. "You're the first one up again? Not surprised." He purred, picking something for himself as well.

Soon after, Lagoon padded from the shadows, his eyes clouded with sleep. "Mornin" he muttered, plopping down by the pile. "Good morning lagoon!" Solar yelped, laying beside him to eat the fish she had picked. Raven had once again returned to his sunning spot in the den to eat his prey.

After lagoon came sun and water, waking up together like always. "Morning you two." Raven meowed from his spot, briefly gesturing to the pile of prey. Sun instantly picked whatever prey was on top, sitting next to Solar to eat it. Meanwhile, water picked through the pile as if trying to find the best piece.

"Perfectionist." Lagoon meowed to the she with a teasing voice. "I am not!" She hissed, picking up a mouse in defiance. Solar laughed before looking around the den to see who was still asleep. "Of course virgo is still asleep..." she sighed, getting to her paws and padding to his corner.

To her surprise, he wasn't asleep. He was just...staring? "Hey virgo, you ok?" She asked, sitting beside him. "I'm good." He said sharply, a bitter tone in his voice.

Solar tensed back at her brothers voice, shocked by the bitterness deep in its roots. "What's wrong?" She asked, a bit worried. "Training with Red sucks! He's to pushy." He hissed, annoyance in his eyes. Solar remained silent, before busting out laughing.

"What's so funny!" Virgo hissed at his sister. "That's what you're mad about? Your trainer being pushy?" She purred. Virgo stopped, as if he realized how stupid it sounded. "Don't worry Virgo, I'm sure it'll get easier." She purred, nudging his shoulder.

"Easy for you to say. You got the oldest cat in the group." He hissed under his breath. She stopped for a moment a bit offended by the way her brother spoke about her trainer. "FallenMist is still a great fighter." She said defensively. "I know, I didn't mean it like that..." he said with a sigh.

Solar kept her eyes on her brother, a bit worried for the Tom. "Come on, let's get you some breakfast alright?" Solar suggested gently as she rose to her paws. Virgo just nodded. Solar looked at her brother one last time before leading him to the group.

"Morning sleepy head." Sun called to the Tom. Raven turned his head, instantly leaping down and nuzzling Virgo. "Morning Virgo." He purred. "Good morning Raven," Virgo purred in return, licking his head.

It seemed to Solar that just Raven alone managed to cheer her brother up. She'd have to annoy him about it later. "Solar, get out here!" A voice called. "Coming Storm!" She yowled back, excusing herself and racing about of the den.

"Yes storm?" She asked once she arrived at the toms paws. "You, lagoon, cancer, and FallenMist are going on border patrol." He explained briefly, before padding off and leaving her with the cats. "Let's head out then?" Cancer suggested, clearly ready to go. "Yes, let's go." FallenMist agreed, leading the cats out of camp.

Solar followed a bit behind them, beside lagoon. "Hey lagoon?" She asked. "What Solar." He hissed, his hatred for morning really showing. "Have you ever heard about the clans?" She meowed hesitantly.

"The what now?" Lagoon muttered. "The clans! FallenMist told me all about them." She insisted. "Nope, all I know if that's where we come from and to me that's all I need to know." He answered, fixing his eyes ahead once again. Solar was about to say more when she was stopped by cancer's tail flicking in her face.

"I smell Wing." He hissed, looking to FallenMist. It was clear he was asking the older warrior to confirm his suspicion. FallenMist sniffed the area quickly, before nodding. "Seems so, let's head out." He meowed, leading the group of route and towards the smell.
