I woke up with a whirlwind of emotions coursing through my mind.
I was nervous, thinking about what could go wrong with Tyler's shift tonight. Since it was happening earlier on in the series, I'm not sure who could be close to the Lockwood cellar and the dangers that will be inside of there tonight.
I was excited to get another thing off my personal mission list.
And I was worried that I'll run into Damon while in the woods tonight.
Don't get me wrong, I love Damon. I'd always had a crush on him despite his terrible taste in women and his rash behavior.
What can I say, I'm a sucker for a man who can give a good insult.
But season 1 Damon, was too unpredictable. I couldn't risk being out on my own while he is in 'save Katherine' mode.
I got up and got dressed for the day.

Grabbing my backpack, I left my room and peaked into Elena's room to make sure she was up.
Once I heard the water running in her and Jeremy's bathroom, I knew she was up. Jeremy probably already left by now to go visit Vicki. I waved to Jenna as I made my way out the door.
The day rushed by in a blur, not much happened. Stefan and I bonded more throughout the day, when he wasn't bonding with Elena.
Other than talking with Stefan though, I focused on my studies and finished my homework so I could focus all my attention on Tyler tonight.
I parked my car in the small clearing in the woods that Tyler and I had agreed to meet in, armed with extra chains for him to use just in case.
Tyler pulled into the clearing as I pulled the chains out of my car.
"You ready?" I asked him as he got out of his truck.
"As ready as I'll ever be." He said and with that we made our way to the Lockwood cellar.
Once we got there we quickly got in and started to chain it up as it was already getting close to the time where the full moon was at its apex so we quickly chained him up and I got behind the bars and closed the cell door behind me.
As soon as I was safely behind bars, I sat down on my knees and started chanting an incantation that would hopefully make the transformation less painful for Tyler. I continued to chant as his bones cracked and his screams filled the space. I felt blood drip down my nose, but I kept going until Tyler was fully in his werewolf form.
Sighing, I sat up, whipping the blood off of my face. I can't believe it actually seemed to work, I don't remember his transformation being this quick in the show, but I'll have to ask him in the morning whether or not my spell helped him at all.

Sweet. I glance back at Tyler one more time before heading home.
When I get back home I get tackled by a slim figure. "Where were you!" Elena cries out, getting off of me, then proceeds to check me for any injuries.
"I was babysitting, Lena! Like I said I would be yesterday!" I say as I get off the floor.
"Oh." Elena says with a blush.
"Sorry, its just that- -Vicki Donovan got attacked tonight." Elena tells me.
"Oh, I hope she'll be alright." I tell her as I give her a reassuring hug.
"Yeah, me too." Elena says with a timid smile.
"Alright, I'm going to head up to bed. I'll see you in the morning." I say to her.
Elena starts to something, but the ringing of the doorbell stopped her. Not wanting to hear Elena flirt with the wannabe-Edward, I quickly rush upstairs to my room.
