"I Know You Like Me" ( Arataki itto x female reader)

Itto p.o.v

It had been a couple of days since y/n started living with me and the arataki gang.

I've been trying to make her smile.
She doesn't smile much so i really want to see it!
But so far I haven't gotten a single smile out of her. Sometimes I think she's smiling but it's just her voice that sounds happy.

I told the rest of the boys about my plan and they agreed to help me, but they've had no luck either.

"Today's the day! I just know it!" I said to the boys as soon as we all woke up.

I walked out of the room expecting to see y/n but Shinobu was the only one up and about.

"Morning Shinobu! Is y/n awake?" I asked her getting her attention.

"Y/n? She said she was heading out and left"

"What!? What about the vision hunt decree? Don't they want to kill her? Wait, why'd you let her go out whenever she wants to but me and the boys had to sneak out!?"

Shinobu let out a frustrated sigh at all my questions. She rubbed her nose before answering me," I asked her that before she left. She just said she had something important to take care of. And I had to keep an eye on you before you got caught. I feel like I can trust y/n more when it comes to getting away from the vision hunt decree "

'Something important? What's so important that she needs to risk her life over it' I thought looking down

"I'm going to go find her!" I announced before running out of the house as I could hear Shinobu calling out to me.

Y/n p.o.v

"This should be enough" I said to myself picking up the last dendrobium orchid.

I had 5 at this point, I was gathering them because I wanted to pay proper respects to my mom and dad.

Last time I visited them, I didn't bring anything considering I ran there on impulse, away from the vision hunt decree.

"I better head off now" I said to myself then headed towards the grave.

*time skip*

It maybe took only 15 minutes to get there. I carefully placed the flowers on the grave then put my hands together, praying to the 2 graves.

"Father,  mother. I said I'd bring good news next time I visited. Well it's not really amazing news like the vision hunt decree coming to an end but... I finally met some nice people. Its been so long since I met someone as kind as them... Maybe it's just me? Because of what happened to tomo  maybe I do have trouble trusting others... but I'm going to have to leave them soon. I can't stay with them for there own sake.... um, what would you do mom, dad? I really don't want to leave them" I asked but obviously there was no answer.

Even though I knew they wouldn't answer me, I wanted someone to answer my question.

Itto and the rest of the arataki gang have been nothing but nice to me since I started living with them for the past couple of days.
