Hi, I'm going to start using my oc's name instead of y/n. Which is kanami . So I'm changing this story into an oc x itto mind way through. I'll still use things like f/c, h/c, and so on. But it'll just be the name and the hair length that will be different. Kanami has short ish hair. Her hair goes just past her shoulders. Idk if that's short or middle size.

You can still use your name or whatever name you were using for y/n. Just replace kanami name with y/n.

Kanami p.o.v

It has been a couple of months since I last saw gorou.

We've been sending letters back and forth to each other.

He said they were going to try and stop the vision hunt decree once and for all. But they are unsure of when that will be.
He did say to be a little patient, but I can't help but worry about him.

Gorou told me to keep something a secret, and I have. I haven't even told Itto who I'm with most of my time. 'Something' being the delusions.

By what he explained to me, they were very dangerous. If you use it too much, you could die. Which has happened a lot. Gorou wondered if I had any ideas on how to stop his underlings from using them. But I couldn't think of anything at the time.

And now, it's not any different.

Is sacrificing someone's life really worth for this war to come to an end? No... I know that from experience through tomo.

After reading Gorou's recent letter, I decided to come out of my and Shinobu's room.

'I'll replie to it later,' I thought, making my way to the kitchen for breakfast.

Once in, I saw Shinobu making something to eat as her back was facing me.

"Are the boys not awake yet?" I asked her, making her jump out of her skin.
" Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you."

"It's fine. And no, they're not awake yet. Do you mind helping me kanami?"

"Of course!" I said happily, walking up beside her to see that she was making pancakes for us.

Shinobu and I have been getting closer to each other recently, I haven't had a female friend since I was a kid. So I'm glad it was her.

"Your feet can be very quiet. It's not the first time I've been startled by your voice." Shinobu said as we cooked together.

"Sorry," I said, laughing a little," I guess it's cause I'm a samurai. Well, a runaway samurai. my feet can be quiet when I walk cause of the training over the years."

"Not to mention your small and light weight," Shinobu piles on.

"Hey!" I said playfully, elbowing her in the side.

We both laughed.

Her and I are very similar in some ways but very different in others.

I know she doesn't have the greatest relationship with her parents. They wanted her to work at the shrine as a shrine maiden. But Shinobu decided to go against them and try to educate herself instead.
