James Pov
Mum wants to show around this girl from California. It'll be her first time here in Alfea. She's also a fire fairy. I saw a girl looking clueless. I smirked and walked over to her.
"Wow. You are so lost." I said. She looked at me. "I'm impressed with your confidence in the face of complete ignorance." I joked. "Issue is, you're overcommitted. I mean, you're essentially running."
"Hmm." She said.
"And now that I'm here, you can't give me the satisfaction of turning around-." She cut me off.
"I don't need help, but thanks." She has no idea who I am does she. "If you can tell me where I can find James or Stella that would be great." I would like to have some fun with her first.
"I don't remember offering it though." I said. She turned to me with a smile. "So presumptuous. You are definitely a specialist."
"Nope fairy. Are you a fairy?" I nodded. "Sorry, that's just some I never thought I would say." I laughed.
"That's an odd thing." She raised an eyebrow. "Considering you're standing in a courtyard of a college for Fairies."
"We don't have a lot of those where I'm from." She started to look around.
"And what realm are you from?" I asked even though I already know. I tilted my head to the side and bit my lip. I noticed Bloom looking at my mouth then she slightly shook her head.
"California." I chuckled. I raised an eyebrow. "If you really want your mind blown, three months ago, I didn't even know the otherworld existed." Mum didn't tell me that.
"Um, if you are lost, which I'm not saying that you are, and you need help. Which I am offering completely free of charge, James likes to go by JJ." I said. Bloom nodded. I turned to the building. "This is the specialist hall." I pointed at it. I turned down the pathway. "The fairy hall is that way."
"Oh, the specialist hall. Obviously." I smiled at her. "And I definitely know what a specialist is!" We laughed.
"Hey JJ, already perving on the first years." Riven said as he walked by with Sky. They both high fived me. I turned back to Bloom and she just looked at me.
"You're JJ?" I chuckled.
"Guilty. Mum described you pretty well." I said. "Though she left out something incredibly important."
"And what would that be?" Bloom asked.
"That you are insanely gorgeous." I winked at her and Bloom blushed. I tucked some hair behind her ear.
"James!" I heard someone call my name and I immediately rolled my eyes.
"Let's go quickly." I grabbed Bloom's bag and walked away. Bloom caught up to me.
