Bloom tried to leave last night and Mum basically forbade me from going out with her. I like Bloom and I want to see where it goes. Mum is going to have to deal. I went looking for Bloom so we could have a lunch date. I found her back to walk into the refectory.
"Hey Bloom." I said. Aisha and Musa smirked at her and walked away. Bloom turned to me. "I was wondering if you'd like to have lunch with me?" I asked.
"Like a date." I smiled.
"Yes like a date." Bloom blushed.
"I was told that you were off limits. Being the Headmistress's daughter and everything." I shook my head.
"I just haven't found a person I liked enough to date." I said. I put my hand out and Bloom blushed. She grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. I felt complete at this point. I felt people looking at us. I gave Bloom's hand a reassuring squeeze. "Let them stare. I'm the lucky one. I have the prettiest girl holding my hand." Bloom smiled at me. We went to the line and got our food when it was time to pay. "She's on my account." The lady nodded and we walked away.
"You get free food?" Bloom asked as we sat down at a table.
"Yeah. Perks of being the Headmistress's daughter." We laughed. Bloom and I got to know each other and she told me what happened with her Mum. "I'm sorry."
"Why are you sorry?" Bloom asked.
"Because you went through something traumatic and finding out you have powers that way." Bloom nodded. "Last year I uh I lost control of my powers and I flooded the school."
"You're a water fairy?" I shook my head.
"Not exactly. I was born a mind fairy like my Mum but she taught me to master other gifts as well. I've mastered light, water, and earth. I'm still having trouble with fire."
"Fairies can learned more magic?"
"Yeah. My Mum and a handful of other fairies can. She taught me." I told her. I saw Hanna getting ready to walk over. "Oh no." I said.
"JJ, what's going on here?" Hanna asked.
"We're on a date." Bloom said. "So if you'll excuse us." I looked at Bloom with a smile.
"A what?" Hanna asked.
"Date." I said. "You do know what that is right?" Bloom giggled.
"And you're laughing because?" I raised an eyebrow at her.
"Because I can." Bloom said. I just stared at Bloom with a smile on my face. "I think you were walking away." Hanna groaned and walked away.
"You are definitely the girl of my dreams." I said.
