Struggles With An Autistic Doughling (Hurt, Comfort, and Family)

It had been only a week since Pecan came back and into her Almond and Walnut's life again and she was still getting used to having Rougefort a.k.a Phantom Bleu and having another little Doughling that they had two years ago.

And it was a little nervous about this whole situation cause Bean was diagnosed with the Autism Spectrum Disorder or ASD for short and he was a little hard to understand when he would cry or scream for something too.

"Beanie can you please put your sweater vest on?" She asked him one morning and he sucked on his thumb and didn't answer her as she sighed softly and walked over to him and picked him up and he whined softly and looked upset.

"Bean it's ok~" she cooed and she put Bean's head over the head hole and he squirmed feeling very upset about her touching him a little bit and she shushed him gently and pulled his arms through the sleeves and smiled at him.

"Mmmm~ ma~" he wanted his mom and she sighed softly as she fixed his collar of his while long sleeved top that was underneath his sweater vest and he whimpered softly and looked very upset about something as he was put down.

"Ok kiddo all done~" Pecan said with a smile and he looked away and waddled away from her and she sighed and went Almond who was making his lunch with a smile "hey honey? How do you handle Bean's disability?" She asked.

"I handle well but sometimes it's hard but we can handle it with no problems" Almond said and he stopped working when he saw Pecan's sad face and sighed and went to her and hugged her tightly and she sighed softly as well too.

"It's hard with new change but it'll get better I promise" Almond whispered and he kissed his wife as Bean waddled past them with his blanket in his hand dragging behind him and Pecan thought of this to herself and smiled warmly too.

Later she tried making Bean some lunch and made him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for him and he looked confused at what she was making until she picked him up and put him in his highchair and puts his food on his tray.

This made Bean looked at it and whined softly and looked very upset about something as Walnut who was doing her homework smile and soothed him a back rub "he doesn't like crust and likes his sandwich cut into small triangles."

She said and Pecan nodded and did that and smiled at him as he ate and saw his blanket looked a little dirty and smiled more as she had a big plan as Bean ate then Rougefort walked in and carried him out of the room to clean him up.

As Rougefort cleaned Bean he cooed and reached for his mother's smiling face and they kissed his hands and lifted him in the air making him squeal and laugh as Rougefort twirled and laughed with him as they made airplane noises too.

"Ma!" He shouted and he giggled softly and he felt his mother hug him and kissed his head and smiled "my little baby boy~ mommy loves you so much and so does everyone" Rougefort cooed softly and they put their child down too.

Then they went to clean up from lunch and Bean waddled off to the living room and sat down and played with his sister who was drawing and he looked around before starting to get fussy and he looked upset about something as well.

"What is it Bean?" Walnut asked as she watched him look around and he didn't answer and started to have a huge meltdown and Walnut quickly tried to calm him down and soothe him before he lost his temper and start screaming.

"M-m-m-moofy~" he whispered softly and he teared up and Walnut looked worried about this situation cause she didn't even know where it was but she would find it since she was a detective just like her dad and would find it too.

But after hours and hours of looking she was about to give up when her mom Pecan walked in and had her hands behind her back and Bean looked at her confused as she knelt down to his level and smiled very wide at him as well too.

"Beanie I got you a big surprise~" she pulled out a very clean and very nice looking moofy and Bean's eyes widen as he sniffed it and he had a huge meltdown and ran away crying and Pecan felt her heart break in pieces too.

"What did I do?" She whispered and she went to see him as he sobbed on his carpet in his room "Hey sweetie~ I'm so sorry for that I was only trying to do something nice for you" she whispered as she rubbed his back and he flinched.

"I know I'm not your mommy but I really want to be like one for you and i promise I'll never do that without your permission again" she said with a frown and she got up and started to leave when she felt tiny arms around her leg.

"Momma~" he nuzzled her leg making her tear up and knelt down and held her arms out for a hug and he looked very shy and nervous about this but slowly walked to her and hugged her tightly and she smiled and he smiled.

"W-wuve u momma" he whispered softly and he kissed her cheek and Pecan smiled and kissed him back and smiled at him "love you too little Beanie~" and she tickled him making him feel happy and he laughed too.

As they had their moment together the rest watched and smiled "they're gonna get along just fine" Rougefort said smiling and they enjoyed their moment.
