Knock knock

The thud beats twice on the white wooden front door of the brick two floor house. The house in particular is small but it is an accomplishment all on its own. For a few short years the couple has maintained this house, they've made it their own. With the successions they have made in their life they have established their pride into the house to fulfill a long awaited goal. A goal promised from long ago.

"Jane we can't whatever you do, we can not give up this property. We have worked to hard to just say yeah sure have the house demolish our pride." The man tells his wife. It's been 8 years since they have been married and a total of 29 years of friendship. They are best friends, growing with each other, learning from each other, making mistakes time and time again. "I won't, we won't, they don't deserve this anymore than anyone else, only we deserve this because we made this, we made our own home." She looks at him and she sees Jack as he was when they were kids, he was some little kid with blonde ruffled hair and big thin circle glasses. Now He's a man he is her man all grown with his red Plaid and brown Shirt, his hair tousled over, his fairly trimmed facial hair that darkened and outline all his facial features and define his beautiful blue eyes, he had LASIK eye surgery and ever since she has never appreciated his eyes anymore in that moment than the one they had been in.

"Hello is anyone home." The contractors were at the door. Ever since this new movement a new park was to be made in honor of equivalence amongst social diversity. Everyone's right in Seattle was to be protected and expressed in this new park. However this included the demolishing of a few thousand homes in order to be created. It was supposed to be nearly if not larger than Grand Central Park. A commemoration of everyone's rights a place to be free and to establish a larger sense of community by destroying the one already presented.
She examines the wooden finished table that her and her husband are hiding underneath. Both of them crouched, silent as can be. If they stay quiet and hidden the contractors can't take down the house, not with the owners consent before hand. They made the wood table together they made everything in that house together. Through sweat, blood, and tears they built their own dream house. No one can take that away from them.
