"Come on Tibbles" I said as we are running down a hill. "They're coming" said Finn "We need to hurry" as he trips over a log. My dog Tibbles runs ahead of me as she quickly stops at a cliff side. Finn knew this would happen so he whips out a blanket and I quickly turns into a glider. "Get on" said Finn as I swiftly grab Tibbles and we jump. The wind in my face and the clouds gusting by. Sometimes I wonder if this place is really dead. I look back seeing the things chasing us, The Keepers. Sometimes I wonder why we would destroy such a wonderful and gifted planet, and I wonder if life here will get any better. We fly over a dryed up river to the other side of the cliff. "Tuck and roll" said Finn as I roll on the hard rocky ground. Tibbles on the other hand hits a tree and falls on her nose. "Grr" Tibbles says, as she gets up. "Set up camp, we need a long sleep for the journey ahead." We woke up the next morning and it was still foggy. I went to go to the bathroom behind two rocks and returned to my back pack right next to a dead fern. I pulled out a letter written to him from his dad before he died. It says "Hi Chris, I hope your camping trip was a success. I really wish I could have gone but I was like I said I was stuck in a conference. I love you and see you when I get back. Love Dad. Tibbles gets up and lays her nose on my foot. "I miss them, why did this have to happen to me" I said to Tibbles. Then she got up and ran into the woods to pee. Then we set of for a long journey. We looked on the map and saw our next check point. It was the great divide. The last river that flows through our land. It isn't clean water though it is full of muck and trash. The water I drink is called vappo which is vapor from the air collected into a cooler which condenses into moist clean water, kinda. It is just enough for just me so each of us have one. "Come on Tibbles" I said as she runs beside me and Finn. I look off into the distance and see a orange flat land with a white sky combining at the distant horizon. Nothing else there just dead and vacant.
