It was a cloudy and cold Halloween evening. I would say night but It wasn't exactly night yet. Kids weren't trick or treating yet, no one lit their carved pumpkins, and the tallies weren't ready for the party yet. What party you may be asking? On Halloween eve, which was yesterday, Joe went to get the mail when he discovered an envelope with an invitation inside of it.

Joe was a bit spooked when he saw it, because besides friends and very close fans (who were also friends) knew the tallies' address. He still brought it up to the tallies and they all agreed that they should go. That's what brings us to this evening, where they were all getting ready collectively.

"Joe, your vampire costume looks weird," Andrew said to Joe as he was putting on his fake vampire fangs.

"Why? Is it because I don't have blood? I have the whole outfit so it should look normal-ish." Joe replied.

"No, it's because you just look weird in general." Zubin laughed.

Joe rolled his eyes at Zubin. "Well, your costume looks weird too. Who dresses up as themselves?"

   "Me."

Besides Zubin & Joe annoying each other everyone was having a good time. Only getting ready for the party though since they had no idea what was coming. Even though most of them criticized Joe for his costume being weird and his hatred of blood, everyone's costume was weird. Somehow.

Andrew was a sailor who was also a mermaid, don't ask. Rob was a female version of himself as a cheerleader, Ross was sort of a steampunk man, and Zubin was himself. He wasn't much of a person to dress up/be in a costume and he despised Halloween since you had to dress up. But he did like how you could scare people and be a jerk with an excuse.

"Okay guys, are we ready?" Rob said as he finished putting on lipstick.

"Yeah. I just have to go get my phone," Ross said as he quickly ran out of the bathroom and into his room.

The 4 also headed out of the bathroom and waited for Ross at the garage door. He eventually ran down the stairs with his phone, so the tallies decided to leave then. But before they left Rob had to grab his pom-poms. No one knew the address of the party so they let Joe drive since he had seen the invitation. Somehow, the others didn't.

They all jumped in the bumping SUV and drove to the place. Ross imagined the place of the party would look like a haunted mansion with natural Halloween decorations. And by natural Halloween decorations, I mean the house naturally looks creepy, the plants are overgrown, it's dark, and it has cobwebs everywhere.

Ross was lost in his thoughts while the others talked about random stuff. Rob was talking about how spooky the party might be, or what he said, spoopy. Andrew was bewildered by this. He had never heard of the word "spoopy".

"Rob. What did you just say?" Andrew said as he looked at Rob as if he were crazy.

"I wonder if the party would be spoopy. What?" Rob replied.

   "Do you mean spooky?"

"No. Well, 'spoopy' is a joke off of the word 'spooky' so yes."

"Then why don't you just use that? Why sound weird by using a joke of the word instead of using the word itself?"

Rob scoffed with a slight smile. "Andy, I'm just using a joke. It's not like I made up a new word or something. I'm just being casual, you know, hanging out."

"I guess you're right. I've just never heard that word before and I was very curious about it."

Rob brushed it off and continued talking. Andrew didn't care now either but was still very curious about the word "spoopy". By the time everything got to normal (or were not arguing) the tallies had arrived at the party. The house didn't look like what anyone had thought it looked like. Or what the four of them had thought it looked like.

The house was a beautiful but looked very old mansion. It had 4 or 3 stories to it and gates surrounding the whole house, and from what they saw, a garden. They didn't know who would host a Halloween party at such a nice home or why. The house was isolated in what it seemed like a forest so that could have been the reason. No one to complain about the loud noise. But it seemed abandoned, no music was blaring or people outside of it.

Then out of nowhere, the gates opened. It seemed like whoever owned the house had opened up the gates for the tallies.

"Guess that's a sign that we should go in," Joe said as he pulled into the mansion's driveway.

When the car parked in front of the mansion the 5 got out and took a good look at the mansion. It for sure looked old, and had sort of a victorian style to it but wasn't for sure victorian. Zubin said the house looked beautiful while Rob said the house looked creepy.

Ross looked up at the house as he took off his top hat, the wind responding by blowing in his hair slightly. "I kind of predicted this."

"Sureee you did." Rob said with a scoff. "Anyway, how do we get into this house?"

Andrew pointed to the gnome near the door. "Check there."

Rob checked under the gnome, and indeed there was a key there. He used it to open up the mansion's two doors. When the doors were unlocked, he pulled open them. The tallies gasped in awe.
