Part 4: Lost Love

Vegas POV

Why isn't he home yet? My mind could not handle the stress of waiting for him. Never did I love anyone like this and never did I had got a chance to take care of any person like this.

But Pete is special to me. He has left his whole job and came to me. And I have the responsibility to take care of him. But here I am incompetent of the single task that is bestowed upon me.

What will I say to the main family about their Ex Top bodyguard going missing? And How can I handle Kun Takhun?

I looked into the room of Macau. He was still sleeping. Okay, I have to take matters into my hand and murder that fucking person behind all these.

I got a message from an unknown number. I opened it to see the video of Pete tied to a chair and getting beatings in his face. I broke on seeing my baby get beatings like this. Guilt overpowered me.

It is all because of me. "A head for a head", the caption read.

"Shit........", I shouted.

Macau came out of his room to check on me. "What happened brother?", he asked.

I don't want him to get panicked so I ignored him saying that I got a severe headache and asked him to go and sleep since it is Sunday.

He obeyed and went to his bed. But on his way to his room he stopped and asked.
"Bro, where is Pete?"

"He went to buy some groceries from stores, he will be back soon.", I managed somewhat to him.

"And I have to go out. You stay at home. Got it?", I said in a rather stick way as a warning.

He never minded and went to his bed.

I called P'Nop, but he was not picking up the call. What should I do next? I don't want to do this. But I have no other choice.

I called Porche.

"Hello", Porche answered probably after a rough sex night in a rather sleepy tone.

"Hello Porche.", I sounded a little broken in my voice.

"What is it Vegas?", he asked.

"Porche, Pete is Missing. He has been kidnapped by someone.", I said.

"What?", he said in a rather shocked voice.

"Porche I need your help in finding him.", I asked for his help.

If I have been full of my weapons and my men, I would not be in the position to ask for help from the main family.

"Vegas, where are you right now?", he asked.

"I am at our home now.", I said.

"Okay, you come to the main house. I will instruct the main family and the minor family crew to search for Pete.", he said.

After the defeat of the secondary family under my father, Kinn became the head of the main family and the second family is headed by Porche.

But Porche and Kinn live together. But they never mix their personal life with their professional life.

I called P'Nok to immediately pick me up from my home and drop me at the main family's house.

The main family very sincerely searched for Pete. Shit, this is all because of me only.

"Vegas, don't worry. We will find Pete.", Porche informed on seeing me.

I felt so ashamed. I was not the guy to beg for someone's help. But here I am begging my enemies to find my lover. Because everything was confiscated by the main family including our old mobile phones.

Kinn walked beside him. He just nodded at me without saying much. At the same time, there were commotions on the top floor.

Probably P'Takun must be screaming on hearing the news of Pete's disappearance.

Arm who was very strong at the cyber line found out the IP address of the phone which sent me the video of my darling getting beaten up.

And he had almost predicted the exact location too. So, we took armed men and reached the spot.

It was an abandoned warehouse. It had no evidence of human living. So ghosted place.

"Pete!! Where are you?", I shouted and ran in a few directions.

The armed men too did the same.

No sounds were coming from anywhere near. "Pete", I screamed.

There, in the center of the warehouse, a feeble figure appeared like sitting on a chair.

I went closer to look deeper. It was him. My Pete, all tied to the chair, with his eyes closed and his mouth tied in a cloth.

I could not bear seeing him in this position.

"Pete", I shouted.

There was no response.

I ran towards him, only to find he was unconscious. What the hell had they given to him? Probably a sleeping drug.

"Pete.... Pete.... I am here.... There Is nothing to worry about. Let us go home. Open your eyes", on saying I just tapped a few times to make sure he opens his eye.

He still didn't open his eyes. By that time, the armed guards came there. They splashed water into his face.

He partially opened his eyes. Thank god, only now I can breathe properly.

"Pete, you are all right. I am here.", I said and hugged him.

"Where are the ones who kidnapped him?", uncontrollable anger overtook me.

"They were nowhere to be found. They perhaps escaped or did this on purpose.", one bodyguard said. I guess it was Pol.

"No.... They are going to be dead now.", I left Pete in the chair and arose to my feet.

"Vegas, I informed Boss and he wants you and Pete to come to the main family house immediately.", Pol informed again.

I have to obey because the power is not in my hand. We have got to obey them.

I helped Pete to stand.

"Can you walk or should I help you?", I asked him with great concern.

"No, I can....", he said feebly.

On the way back to the main house in the car, Pete could barely sit. He let his head rest on my shoulders and I made sure he was comfortable. And held his hands tightly with mine intertwined in his.

We were taken to the Main house. Kinn and Porche were waiting for us. They were waiting like they got something to be said to us. The one thing that I want to do is to thank Porche, for his timely help.

"So, Vegas......", Kinn started.

Don't drag the conversation. My baby is suffering in pain his wounds have to be taken care of first.
