Full caution I suck at writing fight scenes
"Y/n-san!" Midoroya calls out to me.
"Konbu" I greet giving him my attention.
"So you're partnered with Kacchan?"
I nod
"You should know, his cooperation will be very difficult so please take care of yourself in this match." He says with worry.
Smiling at him I assure him, "shake sushi"
He laughs and says "Y/n-san, could I take a picture of your speech guide? I'd like to study it and share it among my group chat and our peers so we are able to converse with you better!"
Eyes softening and smiling widely you nod your head excitedly, "shake" you take out the card Yuta made ande hand it to him.
He snaps a few photos and hands it back to you with a soft smile, "I think your quirk is amazing! I'd love to study it sometime if you'll let me!"
You nod at him and hold up a pinky as to promise him.
He links your pinkies and you shake on it.
"Team D and E report to Ground Beta" Aizawa Sensei says over the PA.
"Looks like you're on! Good luck out there Y/n-san!" Midoriya says waving you off.
"Shake" you say walking away.

Currently on the field and waiting for the battle to start, you make one last attempt to get Bakugo to cooperate with you.
"Sujiko" you say earning a look.
"Jesus fucking Christ you say the weirdest shit." he says with a contorted face.
You put your hands together as if pleading then again point between you guys.
"okay! okay! fucking fine. I get it you wanna work together, but how do you expect me to follow along if you can't even talk"
"tuna" you say drawing into the little sandlot you were standing in.
Bakugo watches you draw and make motions with your hands.
"Okay genius but how are we stopping icy hot then"
You bend down and begin drawing again
"Oh motherfu-"
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
"Guess we go with what we got, don't get in my way got it?!" he reinforms.
We sprint but he gets there faster because of his explosive propelling.
When I arrive I see Bakugo steering off our plan playing offense against both boys because Iida obviously had the advantage of ensuring their defensive position.
Why did I even try? Well whatever then I guess. I want to use my speech but Bakugo is in the way and if I use it he'll be affected too since I haven't fully been able to control where I target my speech.
For now I jump into the fight and make Iida my partner.
"Ah, Y/n-san. Time to finally see what your quirk has in store for us" he says, "I'm honored to be your classmate and to be able to spar with you."
"shake sushi" I reply
"Guess it'll take some time to learn the meaning of the ingredients right?" he adds.
Iida speeds around me and kicks me in the side across the ground.
As soon as he comes around again for another hit, I pause time and readjust myself setting Iida up to fall. Time resumes and he's discombobulated as I jump and knee him in the face. He falls backward and before I can finish him off he activates his engines and does a back flip of a sort.
"That time trick of yours, it's amazing how it works, very helpful too." Iida says as he lands defensively.
He sprints at me and I'm lucky enough to dodge it with how much faster he is, I quickly turn and kick him, except he reacts the same and we block each others attack. Iida begins to attack and just when he knocks the air out of me, I reverse time.
Now back to dodging his sprint I turn the opposite way this time anticipating the kick where we canceled each other out. Now shoving him forward and jumping up off of him.
Before we can begin our next attack, Todoroki and Bakugo come barelling through our fight causing a switch of partners and I'm left jumping and dodging Todoroki's attacks. He manages to shoot an icicle at my leg slicing my thigh causing me to misstep and fall.
"IKURA!!" I yell in frustration as I throw myself up and reverse time to before his attack.
Shit, that was my last one. And I feel the migraine coming on.
Now dodging the icicle I sprint towards Bakugo instead and tackle him out of the way of Iida's attack. He didn't need help and I'm definitely going to get an earful later but I'm reaching my limit and I need to end this fight now.
Looking Bakugo in the eyes I lower my mask and softly but demandingly say "Stay" he widens his eyes and sure enough, he's stuck in his position yelling curses at me.
I walk away toward Iida and Todoroki both charging at me. Preparing myself I clear my throat and give them one word
"Sleep"
