In this story: Luna is a freshman in college while Bery is a senior in high school (they are the same age but Bery got left back a year)

Pov: Luna just moved to live closer to Bery during summer vacation but when Luna gets accepted into NYU in New York she moves again the girls have done long distance before so the only problem is who is Bery going to take to senior prom?

Berys Pov :

You were awoken to the sound of rain lightly tapping on your window

Ugh

You turned over in the bed now lying on your back facing the ceiling you wanted to cry

You weren't mad about your girlfriend getting into NYU at all you were so happy for her in fact, she didn't even want to go you were the one who convinced her and you didn't regret it. In fact, you knew if you had to relive it you would do it again without another thought. But you just missed her so much.

You let out another groan when all of a sudden your phone went off excitement filled you as you knew immediately who it was Luna you jumped out of bed to read the message she sent along with a picture Luna always sends you pictures I smile crossed your face as you looked at the pictures of your girl you blushed

You quickly got ready so you could send one of your own. After the picture was sent and you talked to your girlfriend a little she had to get to class. You checked The time

Shit I'm gonna be late

You quickly ran out the door not forgetting to grab your breakfast, car keys and. Mikey backpack. Luckily by some miracle, you made it to school with time to spare. As you walked the campus you saw flyers for senior prom everywhere you sighed as you continued walking to your class you kept thinking about prom and about how you would have to go alone because all your friends were either going with someone else or not going at all. You also knew you were gonna get shit from people if you didn't show up with a girl because people would think, you lied about having a girlfriend. The worst part by far was the fact that you couldn't not go because Luna, being the sweetheart she is sent you a custom-made dress to wear as her way of making it up to you that she couldn't come. She refused to tell you how much it cost but you knew It was incredibly expensive so you would feel horrible not going and wasting her money. Then u remember that prom was Saturday (it was Monday ) so you still had time to figure something out.

Prom day

You had already known that Luna paid for your dress but what you didn't know was that she paid full price for you to get your hair and makeup done

You were 30 minutes into the dance. You were incredibly bored. The only reason why you even came was because of Luna because she wanted you to be more social. Your thoughts were interrupted by the front doors opening. Out of curiosity, you made your way to the front of the ballroom. That's when you saw it or her. It was Luna dressed in a beautiful pink dress matching perfectly with your baby blue dress.

You said and with that, the two of you spent the entire rest of the night together smiling laughing, and just enjoying your time then it came time to announce Prom Queen, and while you didn't win you and Luna won some award for being the cutest couple on the floor as you were dancing the night felt like a dream it didn't feel real. Then you remembered Luna would have to go home tomorrow and that your time together wouldn't be forever Luna noticed your sudden mood change and asked

Well I don't know I'm very thankful you are here don't get me wrong but I just can't stop thinking about how you have to go back home tomorrow and don't know we've done long distance for so long that I'm just not ready to do it again

Well I spoke to my principal and NYU has an online course, I got special permission to move off campus and take all my classes virtually so I'm moving back into our apartment
