"Mate?" Caroline asked a bit amused. "M-mate? What's a mate and where am I?" He looked at me funny and he approached me "You smell rogue but there is something different about you." I gave him a questioning look and the next words came to me as a surprise,"shift" "what?!" "Shift" I didn't understand but then my body began trembling. I heard a crack and I felt pain shoot across my ribs, next thing I knew the pain consumed my whole body. Everything was twisted and mangled in such gruesome ways and all of a sudden I feel relief flow around my body and the pain stops. I looked around,Caroline had a scared but curious face and Dylan look a bit frightened and protective over Caroline like I was going to attack her. What's going on? What happened? I tired to say but it came out as a low purring sound. Whoa OK this is crazy, "w-whoa!" I looked over to Dylan and he has a frightened but excited look to his face. I don't know why but I really like this boy, Caroline was still behind Dylan hiding. I shifted back and it didn't hurt as much as the first time, I was nude though."oh my gods!!" I ran behind a bush and hid."Hey I have some clothes for you though in my opinion you don't need any"Dylan said winking at me while I struggled to grab the clothes from him blushing furiously. When I came out from behind the bush I was in a black hoodie and purple sweats, "Okay I want Answers!!! I want to know where I am? How I got here? What the fuck were those things and how did I do that? And what the hell is a mate?!!" "Look who is miss confident all of a sudden" "Answers!!!!!"I growled and my voice boomed through the forest. Caroline flinched at my sudden outburst, "okay okay calm down I'll explain" Dylan said as he put a hand on my arm. " First off we are in Bloodmoon territory. Second oblivious I don't know.Third those savage dogs were members of the bloodmoon pack. Fourth you are a half-breed." When Dylan said half-breed my inner monsters all growled"and.." He continued, "a mate is someone you were ment to be with, a soulmate." I fell to my knees and on my back as soon as he finished what he said. Mate? Bloodmoon pack? HALF-BREED?!. THIS CANT BE REAL!!! Dylan was holding me and looked scared and like he was panicking. My sight was fuzzy and hearing was off, there was a loud ringing in my ear before everything went dark.
