Eric was standing in front of me like a run away model who came right out from a magazine cover. Eric in white apron is a kind of situation any women would kill for. I mean, seriously this guy can pull off any kind of dress.

“Hello” he smiled making my heart skip a beat.

“Ah, did I forget to mention that we are dining in my son’s restaurant” Neel gave a sly smile.

“Oh, so we will be visiting him everyday?” I asked an obvious question.

“Yeah, do you have a problem with that?” Eric asked in an arrogant tone.

“No. Not at all. Why would I have a problem with that?” I said sipping my glass of water.

“Seems like you do” he replied and folded his hands in front of his chest.

“I said No” I gritted my teeth as I don’t want Neel to think low of me.

“But…”

“Enough. Grow up kids. Eric, did I not warn you to behave in front of my guest?” Neel asked his son.

“But, I’m behaving” he said in a cool demeanor.

“Well, if that is the case then I think your mom would be glad to help you improve your mannerism” Neel replied clearly frustrated.

“Go and bring me my regular meal” he said in a dismissed tone but Eric did not move an inch. He even kept his eyes on me the whole time when Neel was talking and now too.

“What?” I asked.

“You did not order anything” he said which I believe is a annoyed tone.

“Oh, yeah. Just give me 2 mins, I’ll have to go through the menu” I said apologetically. He nodded and went back to his kitchen.

Damn, even his back is gorgeous.

“I’m sorry Neel” I apologised as soon as Eric is out of my sight.

my sight.

“Don’t be, infact keep talking to him. I have not seen him converse with someone with this ease in a very long time” Neel said with a smile leaving me confused.

“Now, you have to pick your food before he gets back” he said.

“Ah, yeah” I started to go through the menu but was shocked to find out that most of the food here is Indian cuisine.

“He studied Indian?” I asked completely excited to have Indian food. Oh, how much I missed Indian spices.

“Yeah. I’m a very picky eater. Canadian food did not set well with me, so I started to cook for myself when I was a studnet and then Jasmine learnt how to cook from me, she cooked both Canadian and Indian dishes equally and few years back Eric said that he wanted to learn how to cook Indian dishes as he feels a pull towards it. I thought he wanted to learn cooking just as an hobby but I was clearly shocked when he said that he want to take cooking as his career even though he did his major in arts specially painting. I take that you have not seen his paintings? Man, his hands are gifted but for some reason he quit painting few years back and chose cooking.” Neel said.
