POV: Zeus

I was currently, as the mortals called it, stalking Perseus. Not exactly, I was just watching his every move, okay? It doesn't matter because I have a good reason to be doing so. He is my son and I was not going to let him into the mortal world without at least some guidance if he needed it. I had the perfect plan to get his siblings to join him.

Thalia and Jason's lives were more or less miserable. Their mother started to drink to much and took out all of her stress on them. I was planning to get a lawyer to take the kids away and then enroll them in Yancy Academy. Now, the lawyer was not an actual lawyer but a god but the mortals don't need to know that. After all what they don't know can't hurt them.

I just hope that Perseus would not mind having the share the apartment with them. Actually I am almost sure that he would not mind, after all he was the one begging me to send them over.

"Zeus, may I have a word with you." I tore my attention off of the image of Perseus sleeping and my eyes met with the warm and flame eyes of Hestia, the goddess of the Hearth.

"Hestia, my dear sister, what may I do for you?" No matter if she was an Olympian or not she was always my favorite sister. I would always believe that she was the most powerful of all because she is the one that kept us all together. Without Hestia in the family we would not be as tight as we were or are.

"Zeus, I must ask a favor from you." She twirled her hair in her fingers and I put my guard up. When ever Hestia wanted something extreme she did that and I learnt quickly to be weary.

"Might I ask why and what you want me to do?" I spoke each word carefully

"I only want to help." She said innocently

"Help with what?" Each word became more distant. I knew that look she was giving me and it was the look she was up to no good. No doubt she had soon plan to get us all in trouble. Gods, I sound like a little boy. But you can't judge me, being with Hestia made me feel younger. I know that I speak for all of my siblings when I say, she makes us all feel younger. It is probably because she is the oldest of us all.

"I want to help you with Perseus." How was she planning to help me with Perseus?

"Perseus? How are you planning to help?" my voice rose a pitch or two

"Do you need someone to watch over him for you?"

"No" It came out sharp, but I enjoyed watching him, he was my son.

"I didn't mean like every second of the day but when you are busy with the counsel I am willing to take the responsibility for a while." I saw where she came from. I had been so stressed with looking after Perseus that I forgot my responsibilities and I started to slack.

"Actually that would be nice if you don't mind." It would be good to relax every now and then. After all I also needed to look after Thalia and Jason. As much as I loved watching Perseus, his brother and sister are the ones that needed the most supervision and help.
