You knock on Julie's door
Julie: Who is it?
YN: your bestie
Julie opens the door smiling
Julie: So you two are together
I nod my head
Connie: what! Did I just hear that YN got herself a boyfriend?
YN: Maybe..
Guy comes up behind you with dripping hair
Guy: Come on babe, we have curfew
YN: Okay, bye Julie! bye Connie!
Julie and Connie: bye lovebirds
I shake my head and laugh
Guy: what are you looking at?
YN: a video Luis sent me of Charlie riding my hoverboard
Guy: Let me see
YN: Im gonna hop in the shower
Guy: okay
After you take a shower you walk out in a white shirt that you can see through so Guy gives you a sweatshirt
Guy: Come get in bed
YN: Hold on I have to braid my hair
Guy: let me do it
YN: okay, okay!
You walk over to Guy and sit in his lap while he braids your hair
Guy: and done!
YN: thank you
Guy: for what?
YN: everything, for actually caring about me.
Guy: what are you talking about?
YN: My parents never paid attention to me, it was always Luis. They never asked me to go anywhere with them, it was always Luis. The only time they cared about me was whenever they got back and I was supposed to clean the house.
Guy: I'm sorry.
You start tearing up
YN: it's okay. You didn't even know me then
Guy pulls you onto his chest and plays with you braid
YN: I love you Guy Germaine
Guy: I love you too, YN Mendoza.
Guy kisses your forehead and turns off the lamp
Before long you both fall asleep
