I freeze in horror as I stare at the masked face people. one pointed the pistol at me but right before the pistol shot my dad jumped in the way died right at my feet. I cried on him as my mom came to me.she pulled me to hide behind a statue. suddenly the men come behind the statue and pull my mom away "run......save yourself " she said as they drag her away. I stand up and take my dads shirt off as a memory of him. I shove it in my pocket and run as fast as I can as tears weld in my eyes. its blurry as I run but I don't care as long I got out of there alive. The guys saw me and tried to get cache up to me but I just ran faster as I saw the last glance of my parents out the corner
of my eye.as I mutter to myself" never again".
