I was in the basement talking to Nigel the plague ghost when Pat shouted for us to come upstairs. I said bye to all of the ghosts and ran up the basement stairs then went through the wall into the front room. I didn't care much for what he had to say. I sat next to Thomas on the sofa and just bounced my knee against his leg. He didn't seem bothered by it so I didn't think to stop. Helen was upstairs in bed and Pat wanted us to go and be with her incase she passed on. He osaid they'd been expecting it for a while now.

Upstairs, we stood around the bed and waited. I started to get tired to I sat on the floor in the corner and started writing in my diary book, even though the pencil faded away after about an hour. I find it so utterly boring that we have to exist in this house together for as long as we may be dead.
1.) I have to live with a trouser-less dumbfounded dickhead
2.) I have to share a room with Captain and sleep on a single bed
And 3.) Thomas. The obsessive poet who I now find myself strangely drawn to.

The lady in the bed known as Helen started to glow as I put my paper away. She is the third person I've seen die now as a ghost. It is beautiful when a person moves on. After she floated off into the sky; quite quickly, Captain quickly said:
"Bagsy. Her. Room." Before he was scolded by Lady Button.
I giggled at the scene and then stood next to Thomas as he recited a strange poem. Everyone left as I sat on the bed next to Helen's body. Now lifeless and still. It reminds me of seeing Captain, Pat and Julian. I placed my hand on her head and bowed my head down in respect. Slightly jealous of her 'moving on'.

~>A week later<~

"Hanna-!" It was Julian shouting me from mine and Captain's room.
I walked in hesitantly and as I stepped through the door, I could see he was sat on my bed. He had his arms folded.
"What do you want, Jules?" I asked him,
"What's the Captain's real name?"
"What-" I was quick to speak,
"Is it embarrassing? Is that why he doesn't want us to know? I bet you know. Giving you died around the same time,"
I felt water clogging up my throat at this point. My blood ran cold; colder than it already was. How dare he bring up my death and use it as a way to find out Captain's real name.
"Out. Now."
"What?! Why?! You didn't tell me!" He stood up and did his political point at me. At that point my throat started hurting and I couldn't hold it back. I started choking. I hadn't choked for almost 5 years and to break that streak on Julian is an insult.
I excused myself from the room unable to take a breath in and found Thomas.

"Hanna, what has you choked up?" He pulled me into his arms and cupped my face after putting me in-front of him.
I tried to talk but only gasps for air came out. He sat me down and just sat with me until I was calm again. At that point, Everyone was called into an emergency meeting. Me and Thomas already there, I leaned against his side. He smiled down at me and hummed softly so only I could hear him.
Captain walked in angry looking stating that Fanny was keeping him up all night. Screaming. They argued about it when Kitty said:
"I always thought that was an owl" to which Thomas replied,
"An owl? Do you know what an owl sounds like?"
"Well now I don't think so.." Kitty smiled and said.
I giggled and got back to listening to the little argument. That was until Robin started shouting something about a motor vehicle. I got up and went to the window, standing in front of Pat. It was some sort of red cylinder on wheels that had music playing. Must be a modern car. Pat referred to the girl who got out as "Kim Wilde" I'm not sure who she is but I'm sure she looks like that.
Thomas then stepped forward and said, "I shall pluck out my eyes for never shall I see such beauty again,"
I looked at him with my brows furrowed and then ignored the anger brewing in my chest.
"Yes, he'd make a very fine soldier," The Captain blurred out.
I nudged his shoulder and as he looked at me, I winked at him. He smiled at me back and put his index finger up to his lips, mouthing 'shht' to me.
My attention was then drawn back to Thomas. He was staring at that girl as if she was shining. Cap noticed him staring at the girl and then looked in my direction. I just walked to the sofa and sat down.

It was then that Kim Wild and the handsome soldier walked in, admiring the room. I thought it was odd and was about to ask what they were doing here but was answered before I spoke.
"I can't believe this is ours," The girl claimed.
I then broke in, "What did she just say?" Pat answered.
"Looks like she's a button, Hanna,"

We followed them into every room, Thomas not taking his eyes off her. I eventually got so angry that I had to leave to contain myself. I went and sat next to the lake. It's funny. I died at the lake yet I can't help but find it peaceful. I started hearing voices over the hill. I looked back to see the ghosts and the living people. They pointed to the lake through Pat as he leaned over and heaved. The girl said something as they all froze and ran to the house.

After I'd calmed down as the lake, I went back to the house where everyone was gathered around a bed. It was dark outside but I could just make out that the girl was in there who's name I'd learnt was Alison Cooper. And the man was called Mike. Thomas just kept looking at her. I was only brought back from my thoughts when I heard Rob say "Kill them," after learning what a hotel was.
It turns out that Alison and Mike want to turn button house into a hotel.
After further discussion, Pat decided that we should try haunting them. Good idea. I don't want this place to be turned into a hotel!
