Y/N passed out his name peer trained from his final attack "I thought his magic was gravity what happened." Sol turned to Charlotte confused "I don't know but looks like he earned himself his spot on this squad as a true member." Charlotte responded "Captain are you serious???!" Riscassa shouted
"I mean yeah after all he is a man who knows what intentions he had for joining this squad" Selena added "that is of none of your concern if he does have I'll intent he will be dealt with swiftly and that's a promise you can trust in."
Charlotte finished "Sol take him to his room the nicer ones please."
"Fine but only because you said so Captain." She reluctantly obliged.
Timeskip
Y/N pov
I woke up the next morning in a nice room and bed I was exhausted with a pounding head but this time I remember what I did yesterday it was clear as day light blue aura like Asta said before then he shot flames from his mouth intense and very powerful
I get up and hear loud knocking at his door
"Yeah yeah I'm coming." I say annoyed opening the door it's one of the last people I wanted to see "what do you want sol?" She grows a tick mark "you think I wanted to come to your smelly room sis wants to speak with you." Sol demanded "fine fine just quit shouting." Y/N said displeased with the news the walk to the captains office was long quiet and awkward what with Sol constantly glaring daggers at Y.N "you know you don't have to hate me I'm just here for the same reasons as everybody else. I want to help people." Y/N looked at her and her gaze was furious
"Yeah right you men always have an alternative motive to helping people do it doesn't benefit you, you won't do it!" Sol accused and she wasn't wrong while Y/N did have another motive to joining the magic knights these people in the capital mean nothing to him they don't struggle like the families back in hage, like his family back at the orphanage
"Fine I can see that you have a point but try not to bug me about it." He opened the door to charlotte's office after receiving a come in once he knocked "You asked to see me captain." Y/N announce his arrival "Yes seeing as you passed your "Initiation" you will be going on your first mission I trust you are up to the tasks?" Charlotte asked
"Yeah it's no problem what's the mission?" Y/N asked in hurried tone indication he is thrilled to be let put on his first mission " I know its soon but I can see your talented so I'll allow it this time but sol will be accompanying you." Sol was infuriated she didn't want to work with this arrogant piece of trash "I trust this isn't an issue, is it.......Sol?" Charlotte put emphasis on the last halve of the sentence giving Sol a stern glare for her to squirm under.
"Yes ma'am." Sol reluctantly agreed "your mission will be reconnaissance and nothing more understand? Here is the map your scouting the region north for expansion." Y/N nodded and took the map Sol reached for it trying to take it but it didn't work Y/N successfully kept it away from her.
Timeskip
Hours later and following the map the trip to the unmarked area wasn't harsh as the use of magic brooms makes the travel a lot easier than normally walking like Y/N has had to many times before.
"So your from the boonies right?" Sol ask with no particular tact "Yeah what about it." He asked wary of her next word "it's just that, why come to the magic knights don't you think you would better served back home?" He was slightly interested and annoyed at the same time which is basically his entire range of emotions towards sol.
" Well my money I'd get from the being here will be more than enough to support my family back at the orphanage." He said with a look of determination. "I guess all men at exactly disgusting cowardly pigs all the time." Sol said with faux introspection "yeah whatever just stay focus we could run into beast or something"
The duo landed and prepared exploration of the territory the clover kingdom was hoping to take as there own
"Guess we should split up huh?" Sol said looking around the terrain "if you think can handle yourself." Sol grew a tic mark "oh I can handle myself trust me asshole."
Y/N smirked she's feisty for sure but she annoyed the hell out of him.
"Well then I'll meet back with you here good?"
Y/N offered "Good." Sol finally agreed with him for once Y/N continues to move on he travels further he picked up the trail of smoke as if there was a big fire as if someone was cooking a giant meal.
Through the bush he can hear what sounds like a group of men he peaks out and just as he suspected bandit camps and lots of them
"Bastards wanted to start a nation of thieves......." Y/N muttered that's when he heard an explosion or loud boom and shouting coming from the west of him in sol's location
Him being him he got worried naturally as coming back from a mission with one less person wouldn't look to good he takes off in her direction hoping to make it in time
