Chapter Nineteen - The Real War Begins - Part One

(Tom's Point Of View)

Three months, it has been three months since we last saw or heard of anything about Nicole and her seem to be rouge mate. We haven't let our guard down once, we have our plan and strategy all laid out, we just need to wait and get word of any activity from them. Once we do, we'll put our plan into action. We won't let them take our pack or harm any of our pack members.

Turns out that Alex had found his mate the same day he saw and informed us about Nicole and her mate. He was a wizard that had been blackmailed to work for Nicole's mate, that included reviving Nicole. He had warned the guy about the risks and consequences of reviving someone, but the guy was so ill minded and crazy about Nicole, that he just didn't care.

He told us everything that he knew although he was very scared and hesitant about it, but he still told us. His name was Mason, he was one of those lone wizards who just worked solo but did help out others as a way of living. Mason specialised in spells, potions and charms. So when he told us that Fred, who was the rouge that had blackmailed him, wanted him to preform certain spells, made a whole lot of sense.

He told us what spells he wanted done and what each spell meant as well as what they did. He was very helpful in our plan, he even made the territory's defence a lot stronger by casting spells so no one that wasn't allowed on the territory to be unable to cross the boarders. But if anyone tried, then we were alerted right away.

I had made Mason the pack's personal Wizard, as Maddie was the vampire's personal Witch. They actually got along well, they both worked together to keep the Crystal Moon territory safe from any random or surprise attacks. They also had enchanted all of our weapons, making them a lot more stronger and have some cool effects when they were used. For example; some swords on the blade lit up with blue fire, the hottest type of fire when they were weld, some bow and arrows had the arrows be made out of poison once they were shot, and so on.

While we are waiting for this attack, Jake's and I's parents had pushed us to start our wedding planning, but we won't actually get married until our threat is over. We don't want to risk them showing up in the middle of our wedding and ruining our special day. So while waiting for our new enemies to pop up, we were planning the wedding to please our parents and ease their worries of us actually getting married. Nothing nor no one will stop us from getting hitched, we just wanted to wait until all threats have been eliminated first.

While we were starting to make some ideas for the wedding, the alarm for the boarders went off, alerting us that someone was trying to enter the territory. We quickly got into our positions while the warriors went ahead and got a closer look at who it was to inform us if they were friend or foe.

I got a mind link from Alex with the scope.

Alex: 'Alpha, it's them. Do we proceed as planned?'

Tom: 'Yes, and make sure that they don't see, hear or smell you'

Alex: 'Rodger that Alpha'

Fred and Nicole were at the pack's territory with Fred's group of rouges, trying to get into the boarders. Fred had 35 rouges at his disposal, ready to fight to the death if needed, they were from packs' that kicked them out for serious reasons. Reasons like theft, attempt murder, plotting against their Luna and Alpha or their Alphas, etc.

So these rouges are definitely not a nice or good lot to be around at all. Now with Fred, his past was very dark, in fact, this 'event' is just a repeat. In the past he was a cruel and greedy Alpha, all he wanted was power and money. He would kill all of the omegas in his pack, he would destroy other packs and steal their money, jewels, everything that was pretty much valuable. He haven't met his mate yet so back then he was weaker than he is now due to the mate bond, the only one who stepped in and destroyed Fred's pack was the royal lycan pack, the lycan King and Alpha of all werewolves and lycans, found out about Fred and put a stop to him.

Fred vowed that he would get revenge on the royals and he was then banished to the land of rouges, never able to be in a pack ever again. But with his mate now by his side and his new formed 'pack', he will start his revenge by taking out Crystal Moon Pack, one of the most powerful and largest packs that ever existed.

He wasn't sure why he wasn't able to end the territory but soon he started hearing grunts and groans from his men, turning around he was in total shock to see half of his men laying dead on the ground. It was then that he saw archers in the trees of the territory, ready to shoot more arrows at the rouges. Before he could even make a move he then saw Tom, Jake, Mason, Maddie, Alex, Garry and a few warriors as well as a few vampire warriors coming to the boarders in battle wear.

Nicole froze when she saw Jake, even after finding, marking and mating with her mate, she still had a strong feeling towards him despite her wolf's disgust and hatred of her feelings towards another male that wasn't their mate. Jake noticed this and felt disgusted that even when marked and mated Nicole still wanted him. Jake wasn't the only one who noticed this, Tom did and felt the same as Jake, but the other who also noticed was Fred.

Fred was beyond ferocious, all he saw was red and he extremely wanted to murder Jake in the most worst and painful ways as possible. Nicole then noticed Fred's anger and so to calm him down she tried to comfort him, but he shoved her away as he was p***ed off at her, he didn't even care that she was looking up at him in tears for his 'rejection'.

Fred's original plan was to chat a bit, letting them know why he was there and to then attack afterwards, but now. Now, he just wanted to ripe all of these people apart, except for Jake, he had other plans for his death. So, without any warning whatsoever he started to run at a fast speed to the boarder and shifted into his wolf's form in mid jump, aiming straight towards Jake.. With red and murder in his eyes.
